Honestly I think everyone is overreacting. From what I gather the gameplay trailor was from the start of the game. To me it seems that darkness is slowly creeping across the world. So at the start it will be somewhat bright and a little happy. That feeling will go away and will be replaced by the dark scary feeling.

They said that they were trying to use color to convey mood and at the begining the mood is not total despair like it was in the previous games. This time it appears that the games starts just before that point. I think the color need to be turned down just a smidge, but for sure get rid of that rainbow.

Just remember that Battle.net has ads. That is how they made their money with the previous SC, Diablo and WC games. In fact in the late 90s B.net was the only online gaming service that was making a profit even though it one of the few free ones.

With that regard I really don't see them doing Pay-to-Play, however if they do I doubt it would be higher than $5 a month.

Well I think that they are mainly in response to the fact that life and mana steal were absurd in D2. I still think they will have some sort of pots though.

Really simple, I want to see battles in Heaven and I want to see Tyrael put the smack down.

What was that comet all about?

Basically what can you tell us about the storyline.

I could be wrong but I thought I heard Cain say something about a nurse aid as he was going into the town portal in the gameplay trailor. So I am guessing she is related to Cain or learning from him. Something along those lines.

Well didn't someone "let it slip" last WWI that there would be a game announcement?

So while the idea of a Diablo 3 announcement is still a rumor, although with an awful lot of substance, I have been hearing some wild speculation that some people who get to 99 first on each realm in the upcoming ladder will get beta invites to D3 when it gets to that point. I am wondering if anyone believes that this is a possibility because that would definitely be worth my time.

Are prizes given to the top Ladder Players, like in StarCraft and Warcraft II?

I may be mistaken but I don't remember that question being there last time they reset.
