Trading: More than anything else, I would like to see absolutely NO bind on pickup items. In my opinion this completely ruins any sense of immersion in the game. Why in the world would I not be able to trade an item just because I have used it? Makes no sense. The best thing in Diablo II was that you can trade anything at any time.
A global auction house/trade center would be fantastic. Going back and playing Diablo II really shows this (trading) to be a glaring problem without using a forum.
PvP-wise I would like to be sure that it isn't just a one-shot-kills-fest that Diablo II became. I hated how high runes were required (yes required) to do any sort of PvP. Playing legit, it can take quite a bit of time to gather enough runes to make a decent item and still you will be far far behind the people that somehow have a hoto/2 botd/engima in the first week of ladder. Also, I'm adamantly against the idea of battlegrounds or arena. Arena gear is bad enough for game balance in WoW; I certainly don't want that in Diablo!
Game is looking great so far guys, keep up the good work! Cheers, Llama

Not broken for you. I'm colorblind and have issues telling the difference between Yellow and Gold. The only way I can tell if something is rare or unique in D2 is a slight difference in the degree of bold in the font. It's near impossible when stuff is dropping constantly. Can't tell the difference between blues/purples in WoW either. I'm glad that Blizz is taking the time to help those of us that are color-retarded from birth. Won't stop me from playing the game otherwise but it sure as hell makes things a lot simpler for me.

And just for the record, WoW took TONS of influence from Diablo and Diablo 2, which took TONS of influence from D&D, which took TONS of influence from....(etc etc)
Honestly, it drives me absolutely batty when people complain about "WoW influences" when most of those are taken from diablo to begin with. You know, skill trees, etc
Anyway, we're getting off topic. The Wizard.

In my humble opinion, "Cloud of daggers" isn't really an original idea. Although, as Voltaire once stated: "Originality is merely judicious plagiarism."

No ranged class when we've seen bows drop? Unless you think the rogue will be a ranger/rogue hybrid (which for the record could be right up my alley if implemented correctly).

Obviously some people will enjoy it and that's great. I'm just hoping the same thing doesn't happen with the next two classes as well.

I want to say I'm happy for everyone that is excited about this class. It's great you've found something you will enjoy playing.
That being said, I am very very disappointed. This class really really strikes me as BLAND. It's the same boring stuff I've done in games for years and years already. The same spells as D&D and countless other games (having gone through the released list of abilities as well as the gameplay video). I'm just not interested in playing the same character AGAIN.
That being said, perhaps something will come in the next 2 characters that will knock my socks off and I'll say "Oh...I've just GOT to play that," but none of these trip my trigger at all.
/sigh

That being said, I am very very disappointed. 3 classes thus far that I am completely uninterested in playing. The barbarian? Been there, done that. Same abilites shown from before, and I didn't even enjoy him much in D2. Witch Doctor? Just not my style. Would not enjoy playing him, I don't think. The Wizard? They arn't early in development. At the very minimum 2-3+ years in. What, you think they start working on the game when they announce it? There are 4 different teams at blizzard. WoW, Starcraft, Diablo, and an unnamed IP. These are seperate so they don't impact the development schedules of the others at all. Mutually exclusive teams.

Actually there have been over a dozen people now that have said they remember it so it's not just him. Whether they are making it up or not... /shrug

Again, for people that don't bother reading the thread.

That other one is ART. The replica sword is official and it doesn't have that left rune...

Frozen Tundra Drifter Cavern Are both from Diablo 2 Act 5. I can make claims to that too. It proves nothing either way.
