Not sure what you expect to happen here? Someone to be like, "Not only do I not need a Furnace myself, but I am willing to follow you around whenever you're farming and give you one if it drops for me."?

So after having lvled my monk to paragon 400+ I will finally get a chance to loot some Unity rings...
Unity is not a rare ring. So your chances will remain unchanged. The rare rings would be Rechel's and Rue Chambers.

It sounds like ARPGs are not your cup of tea. Hearthstone is pretty fun for a casual gamer. Try that.
oh please..dont act like d3 isnt as casual as possible
Diablo is not really a 2-3 hours per week kinda game. It's a grind game. And, as such, requires a non-causal amount of time sink.

posted a message on For Fun: Greater Rift 38 Clear with ZERO Paragon Points
I don't know. This is a pretty poor experiment since we don't have a control. It would be nice to know what you are capable of when you don't gimp yourself. What you've shown here is meaningless without context.

For ease, let's say that going no-paragon dropped your dps by half and you finished it right at the 15 minute mark. If you then did the same rift fully allocated and finished it at 7m30s, then this would actually prove that gear is the prevalent source of your clearing ability. In order to prove that skill plays a significant role, you would need to clear the same level in a good deal faster than half the time.

    Quote from Jaetch

    But L2P > everything else.
I strongly disagree with this. I get that you're trying to show that skill is important (and I agree with that notion), but this accomplishment (gz btw) would not have been possible if, say, you made so simple a change as removing your chest piece.

Both aspects are very important. But until I see a naked GR38 clear, I don't see how anyone can say that gear takes a back seat to skill.

I think what this video may highlight is that fluctuations in numerical stats (not gear) are less important than one might think. A lot of people already know this though. It's why we take RoRG even though the stats on it are pretty bad compared to what's out there. A small loss in numbers can be more than made up for by the greater whole.

posted a message on WTB Blizz game that looks like this...
I've never liked Blizzard's cartoony graphics. It would be my number once complaint across their amazing line up of titles. A few people in this thread have said that the important thing is gameplay. This is very much true. But why can't you have both? I would kill for a game with Blizzard's superior gameplay AND stunning visuals.

Currently Blizzard's great aptitude for creating an awesome game keeps me coming back in spite of their lackluster graphics. How cool would it be to have amazing graphics and a great game from them?

How come you people are talking like this is an either/or proposition?

posted a message on A 4th New Goblin Type?
    PTR Notes:
Be on the lookout for the Jewel Hoarder, the Blood Thief, the Odious Collector, and another Malevolent little bugger
We knew about the other three (drops gems, drops Blood Shards, drops crafting mats). But what about this Malevolent one? Any ideas? Or has anyone spotted something on the PTR?

There are two beefy looking goblins on either side of Greed in the Goblin Family Photo from BlizzCon. Maybe they're involved? I don't recall seeing them as part of the boss fight or being in the room, but may have missed them.

posted a message on Still very few builds variety and luck too much involved in progress?
    Quote from FEIF81

There will alway be 1-3 builds that ppl will use.
This is exactly it. It is literally impossible to make more than a couple builds be "the best". The word itself is exclusive of significant numbers.

There are shit tons of possible, and completely viable, builds that you can make. Each class has several dozen ways of completing T6. The problem is that when people like you, OP, say "viable" what you really mean is "better than everything else". The problem with this definition is that, by it's very nature, you exclude most of the builds that are out there.

It's like this. Say you have five builds. Build A is 100% effective. It is the best and it pounds things to sand in a heartbeat. Build B is 99% effective. It also pounds things into sand in a heartbeat. Builds C, D an F are 90% effective. All three still pound things into sand in a heartbeat. BUT because they are ever so slightly less effective than the top two builds, people like you say that they are not viable and bitch about how there is no build diversity because everyone is using A and B.

I think I've found the issue. You know that you can buy a 5th tab, right?

    problem solved!
Dude just look at FEIF81's comment and you know how the 5th one looks like for most players. So gear has to fit into 4 tabs. Think before writing ;)
That sound you hear is my comment whooshing over your head.

I think the video is about 10 minutes to long.
Haha. Agree with this. It doesn't take a video to say "I want 10 9x19 tabs".

I think stash tabs are fine too. I'm one of those people who would keep 3-4 copies of every single item I find if I could. Having limited space forces me to keep only the stuff that actually really needs keeping. If given the chance, I would blow more time organizing my storage than playing the game. So I'm glad that they don't allow me to do that.

    TLDR: No change required.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted to clarify... On PC, this ONLY applies to Legendary Gems. For example, if you already have one Maximus, you can absolutely find another.

    The Key Wardens drop keys...
    The Ubers drop organs.
    http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/82430-ros-faq-reaper-of-souls-frequently-asked#c120 (Question# 25)
On T6 the key chance is somewhere arounf 50%(?)

    Torment I: 25%Torment II: 28%Torment III: 33%Torment IV: 38%Torment V: 43%Torment VI: 50% The Ubers at T6 drop organs at 100% now I think?

Organs must be higher than that, or?

I multibox 4 accounts and had organs dropping 14 out of 15 times on T5. Cant be just pure luck if droprate is 50%?
Or does it work like this, (since all get organs).
Or does every account roll once each when doing ubers? 50%x4 chance to drop for all?

Organ droprates were roughly doubled some time ago (hence the title and whole point of this thread). T6 is 100% and it slowly goes down from there. I don't know exactly what T5 would be (because as ruksak said why the hell would anyone do T5?) but I would assume somewhere in the 80-90% range.

Keys and organ drops are per party. So, if T5 is an 85% droprate, the entire party has an 85% chance that everyone gets one and a 15% chance that no one will get one.

It kind of blows my mind that people still struggle with this. It's crazy easy old news. Totally mind boggling that people can have hundreds of paragon levels or the wherewithal to set up a 4x multibox twitch team but are too dumb to figure out Hellfire rings.
