no thanks.. but i wonder how the game would be like if you had 2/3 seperate equipment slots for different respecs +/- talent build pages; seperate respecs, can switch between spec's only in town. so that if you died maybe you want to take a different approach with your group on-the-fly.. haha.

We don't know about how those will work as of yet.

That is because the same piece of armour looks entirely different on each class, I don't see your point.
oh really? thats awesome, sorry man i did not know lol.. wow thats really cool.

to the man above me, what about set pieces? there are class specific set pieces.. lets not forget witch-doctor has a very unique look as does every other class so i could easily see quite a few class specific armor pieces.

Too late? They are not even done with act 1/the five character. Plus, this is Blizzard, not EA. If they find something wrong w/ D3 the day before it's released they will change it.
    oh? inside information?

hes referring to the fact that a magical hammer appears from thin air like its summoned to smash whatever is infront of the barbarian at the time.

If you watched the HD version, there's no way you would have missed it. You can clearly see him and hear him creeping in the background.

The interesting part is that he is not really a boss, or even a mini-boss. He is a regular rare Unique monster, that is a part of a random event which can happen anywhere (where it makes sense). That probably means that dungeons will dynamically change to provide hints through scripted events so that you know what awaits you further, if random events such as these are actually rolled as soon as you enter the dungeon.
yeah this is very old news but the way that you stated it that.. i guess i just never picked up on before is very nice. "hints" that a random event will be occuring coming up is a nice touch. who knows if it will be with all or just some of them, the hints that is. oh and wasnt there other hints too? like bookcase walls smashed from behind or the bridge that gets ruined by the falling ceiling. i dont know im not investigating anything, it would be pointless.

you can't call it a spell. you can call it a Talent i suppose, because thats what skills are now*, talents. poster #2 is 100% correct.

sorry typo with not and now**
spell to me seems more like mage-ish.. like you're casting something. a barbarian doesnt use magic so that's why i say you cannot call that a spell.

geez cant wait for d3 to hit store shelves just to shut all of you up :D
one thing i was pondering though, sure theres not corpses and shit nailed to tree's in act 1 etc.. etc.. Early act 1 at that.. but what i was thinking was the differences between normal - nightmare - hell. say you go thru normal, its nice gets worse as you go thru acts.. then you get to nightmare, you start to see bad shit going on even in act 1 you'll start seeing more gore. then when you get to hell you feel as if it's all gone bad.. hell is starting to show. i dont think it's something that has been talked about but it would certainly be interesting!

ugh.. what you guys do not seem to understand is that diablo 1 & 2 the game was built in squares, that is why the movement was done in square patterns = 8 directions. building in squares definately limits alot of things that you might want to do. why would you want that back?? honestly tell me please. WHY!?

right now the game looks to be a mix of 2D and 3D, making for a fantastically visual and beautiful game with gameplay(from what i've read) possibilities, Endless! so many different talent tree combinations.

yeah man this game isnt taking place in the history of our planet, it never was.. it doesnt have to be realistic to our history, games have changed and you should let the devs be creative with their game. after all the game is becoming so dynamic now gameplay and look, why not let them be more dynamic with the environment?

posted a message on Diablo 3 beta testing site?
i put in one of my emails and hit apply, then it refreshed the tiny box and i couldnt see the information that it was saying, my guess is it was a form to fill out.. so i right clicked it went to properties and copied the link, when i put the link in a new tab i got a website from hdreviewpanel.com giving me an offer or something.. wanting me to win a hd tv etc.. i do believe its a hoax yes but i wanted to let everyone know.

Oh and just an edit: http://d3.zuggaming.com/2008/07/04/diablo-3-beta/ i googled diablo 3 beta and there was a small article on it which was an interesting read for me. i will paste it below for you people scared of links. yes it was posted quite some time ago sorry though i did not know about it until now.

    Diablo 3 Beta
    July 4, 2008 by Zuggy

While the Diablo 3 beta has yet to be officially announced a good friend of mine who works for the Blizzard entertainment has informed me that the first phases of beta should begin sometime quarter 4 of 2008, or at the very latest, the first of 2009.
This type of launch date for the beta is very reassuring, as it further reinforces the estimated diablo 3 release date of summer / fall of 2009. As in all Blizzard games the beta will go through a variety of phases. First, the family and friends of Blizzard beta (cross fingers that I get one!), second closed beta…now this is where timing on your part will be crucial if you’d like to get in.
Closed beta accounts will be given by invitation only. How do you get this closed beta invitation? Once blizzard finally announces the closed beta sign ups you may only have a week, or two at max to get your name and information sent to blizzard. In these applications make sure you extol your vast gaming experience, the fact that you are a player and do not represent any type of media organization (if you’re associated with another company or media outlet Blizzard will immediately deny your app).
As always make sure to stop back by on occasion, as soon as official announcements are made on beta sign ups I’ll have the full story on how to get yourself one
