I have a 44 sorc. and I'm trying to level with my friend. She's a 17 or 18 Barbarian. In Act II I killed, for her, the monster in the Maggot Layer and Valley of Snakes (altar, not montser) and asked her to pick up the parts of the staff.
For some reason she didn't do what I said (she's not good at video games), and now she only has one part of the staff.
I keep going back in (with her creating a game) and going back to those areas, but the half of the staff she is missing is not dropping for her. Again, she created the game, and I joined.
Is her barbarian stuck in Act II? If she doesn't have both parts of the staff of kings how can she get to the boss?

Make sure the head of the staff necklace is not equipped on her...
DM got into the beta the same way other people like me did, can give you a screenshot of my battle.net account as proof.EDIT: Keep in mind that beta has not started yet and we just figured out how to flag our battle.net accounts for beta access. Those screenshots and videos were (presumably) leaked by an ex-blizzard employee although there is no official confirmation on the matter from blues.

Make of it what you will, I pulled this from another forum(won't repost the forum due to the nature of the forums, but will PM if its requested), but he says the beta isn't active, its just on his account, he is not fansite related or F&F...so take it as you will, but figured i'd pass it along.
