Not very possible I would say. January is only 2 months away- I think they would have been able to confidently announce this if they were aiming for that time frame. But I could be wrong. :sorcerer:
The beginning of January is 2 months away. The end of it is 3 months away! (I'm just being very optimistic here. Watching Blizzcon and all that got me hyped up to the extent I probably won't survive for much longer).
Also, I noticed that the armor sets shown on Blizzcon aren't up on the main page here on dfans. If there are no threads about them or anything, I could probably go back to the stream and print screen some. I was pretty dissapointed with the barb ones. Especially the 2nd one they showed - the big red spiked bug armor. It looked way too unrealistic. Can't imagine someone moving comfortably in that!
Zhar, regarding your hopes for a Jan/Feb release date, I highly doubt it. On the stream, in an interview with one of the D3 staff (I'm too lazy to look it up right now, it was between the panels god knows at what time), I believe Jay Wilson answered a Twitter question regarding release date and Jay said: "6 months after beta starts", which would imply that that would be impossible.
As the topic says, before the Tenacious D concert started, Sam said that Blizzard would give away 1000 D3 beta keys to random Blizzcon attendees. Thoughts on what this could mean?
I voted too cartoony, but would like to add that I feel there should be more environmental objects that enhance the horror feel.
Won't mention light radius being too big as maybe the trailer did that on purpose.
I feel that you should wait until the game has been announced officially more than one day ago.
Hi Equinox, did you know this forum is for Diablo Fans? I'm expressing myself in regard as to how, IN MY OPINION, this game might be changed graphically to make it more enjoyable to me, and hopefully others that read this thread.
EDIT: Editing at the top so people who don't feel the game should look more gloomy can stop reading here, and then not badmouth (cause that really makes their points stronger). I am not criticising, merely expressing an opinion.
Hello everyone.
Before I start, from what I've seen I am definately going to buy the game, no matter what adjustments are made.
Just thought I'd share that I wholeheartedly agree to that the colour scheme should be made more grim and gloomy, as Timer points out in this thread: http://diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9237&page=2
I fully support his ideas. I wanted to comment on battle.net forums, but I'm currently not at where my CD-key information is, so I decided to do it here.
Also, if anyone is actually reading this, I feel that the environment should be more torn apart/destroyed, in a sense? I mean, the chairs and curtains in the Monastery are all whole and intact, while it's crawling with undead... this doesn't seem right to me. To expand on this part; I focused a lot on random objects in the environment in the gameplay trailer and in fact did not find any. Would be nice to maybe at least see a misplaced book on the ground or some rats running around.
Also, I feel that there should be more eery environmental things, such as skulls and mangled bodies in a dungeon full of monsters, to actually give it a feel that "men have been here, but didn't get out".
Lastly, to add to the previous Diablo feel, I think they should really add longer lasting bodies and more gore on the ground after a mob's death. In the trailer the blood dissapeared in 3 or so seconds after a monster died. Anyone agree with me that bodies and respective gore should "stay a while"?
I'm pretty sure I forgot something, but it's late and I'm tired. Hope someone shares my thoughts.
Regards,
Malina
PS: Sorry if I offended anyone.
PPS: Maybe a more correct thread title would have been "changes", instead of "improvements". If anyone could tell me if it is possible to change thread title name, please feel free to do so.

Just because the world hasn't seen it, doesn't mean it hasn't been brewing!
A couple of unlucky adventurers, or graverobbers perhaps?

I see it now, my apologies. Yes, what you say is true, and I have gone through all the Artwork online so far, and that's exactly what I'm after.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't agree with what I've written in this thread, but it's always good to hear different kinds of opinions voiced.
But, if you wrote that you stopped reading after the red printed part, how come you know what I wrote in the last sentence of my post?
