I got like a lvl 15 necro/warrior, it just got boring to me. Dunno why.
I've a developed GW character, and the game is painfully repetitive at times. There's not a lot to it as well. It's more functional than WoW (AKA: less bugs), but outside of PVP and the campaign there's not much too it.
I may get Guildwars when I get my next paycheck and everything payed for the month...
Is it really worth it? I heard you can only get to level 20...
You know, levels aren't everything in every RPG... If you like the design of EQ or WoW then you probably don't want to bother with GW.
The level cap of 20 isn't really the problem the game just seems boring and lacks so much to me. I tried to play it again a while back, installed it all patched it up and played for a whole 20 minutes.
Tiny content is a problem, even with the release of EoTN. I'm waiting for GW 2, though I'm cautious of GW2 since Cantha and Elona are cut out, and I'll outright refuse to play it if GW1 players happen to have an actual gameplay advantage.
Using that as an example; I'd like to ask the question; what is the purpose of those little pictures, and how are they made? (Basically I'm asking for a general explanation of those pictures with a name/rank.)
Another tip - even though your mana is very very important in WoW, in Diablo 2, it's the last thing you want to develop, as it naturally develops through leveling. Same is true for health, but... can't drink a potion if you're at 0 health. >_<
If Diablo 3 comes out during my summer vacation, you can be assured I'll spend the 12+ hours I'm awake playing it. I'm not a genuine addict though, I'll easily sacrifice the computer for something else.
Tip; if you want to play all 3 games. Start with Diablo 1 first. If you start on D2 first, it will be very hard to finish D1. I tried that and it didn't work. >_<
Remember that life must have required something powerful to put the dinosaurs out of power as fast as whatever that force did. Unless something as catastrophic as what happened to the dinosaurs arrives exactly on the Mayan Calender date, then we're not doomed yet. Even if that happens though, we probably have a reasonable chance of surviving, since when the dinosaurs went extinct, technology wasn't exactly available.
Anyone who says mercs are pointless don't know the point of one. (Isn't that ironic?) Mercs aren't there to be a little second-hand version of you, they exist to cover up your back and make up for what you lack. Anyways, give me UBER MERCS! Barbarian tank mercs with full sets of gear ftw! (With customizable talents and attributes and everything.)
Br33ng back me duridz! I'd prefer it to be integrated as a separate specialization for the barbarian, instead of as a separate class entirely though, so you don't lose the marksman-mage-paladin archetype. (Maybe have the shapeshifting in the talent tree.)
I'm a male and role a Male class as much as I can. I've tried making a Female toon in the past and didn't really like it, it seemed to draw too much attention (this was WoW though, where supercharged testosterone males run wild).
