haha thank you, i thought id share it with everyone and see what other people thought because im a very competitive person when it comes to video games and i know A LOT of other people are too, If they idea went through, Clan rivalries would be intense to say the least.

well hey, you still miss out on things in single player for D2 as well.

There should be a single player, but the online play has ALWAYS been the call for attention, this would secure the online play as well worth your time and a good move for blizzard

Now we all know the word unique, means unlike any other.

What if there were Items that One only existed of its kind. If it gets destroyed or lost, it will simply respawn for another person to find.

What would you think about it?

Heres the thing, lets say there are 500 truley unique items, players will be able to access a list of players who carry each item and then can go hunt them down. If a player with the unique item duels another player and loses, the item then drops and the victor takes possesion, thus continuing the cycle. It could be a powerful tool for clans as well because, whole clans can go seek out an item together and then get it for their leader. This would also create HUGE clan rivalries and make the economy sky rocket.

Example: Clan 1's leader has a True Unique item, Their members strive to protect their leader. Clan 2 goes and see that Clan 1's leader has that item and wants to take Clan 1 down. So now your thinking easy... just dont log on. Wrong, the item will dissapear after 5 days of inactivity and respawn elsewhere for another lucky person to find. So now Clan 1's leader is out Magic-Finding, leveling or whatever, but he has 10 of his members with him at all time to protect him. This also created companion ship among members and a sense of pride. A person with a True Unique will have it stamped on his name, that he's a holder of a great power. So now people get curious and a massive battle usually ensues. If its a MMORPG type of game, then the name stamp is probbably not neccesary since they can just look up who has the items because the person would just get hostiled all day and deteriorate his experience. I think this could prove to be beneficial to the games economy and all around fun factor. So if you hate monotous Magic Finding, you can go, "Ok, Today im going to try and take down a player with a True Unique" and you might also be thinking, well what if the player is really good, he could keep it forever. Wrong, much like the laddder season, a true unique items will disappear and scatter through out the world for people to find again every3-6 months. So now people can be like ok, get the clan together were going to go find a True Unique. Which also will boost the economy because of the amout of killing they wll do, searching for it, so in reality its heavy magic finding, and players WILL come across awesome items as they are searching for a True Unique, so the market will always be bustling, ESPECIALLY if there is an Ebay System involved.

Another way to make it interesting would be, make the item Binding, they player must agree to equip the weapon but can NOT unequip it until they either lose to a non-clan member or the True Unique item resets itself.

**Another idea just occured to me, maybe instead of every joe schmo being able to find the item, there should be a task involved when you DO find the item, to prove your worthiness and then after you have proved your valor, you must repeat other tasks of similar likeness in time to maintain the item but it still does reset after a certain amount of time, to keep it interesting just so someone doesnt just get the item and thats that. With great power brings great responsibility, so in order to possess the item, you must be active and dedicated, much like a clan leader, in which case is why it would intensify clan rivalries.

    I want your feedback.
