The economy is already restoring a bit in my country, and I hardly noticed it.

Yeah, but you have to consider you live in the Netherlands and that just sucks.

Blizzard do you see what you're effing doing to us? Someone had to literally create the game you obviously won't! Alright I'm getting my usual nausea that sets in after about...say...10 seconds of dwelling on the fact that the game isn't out. If anyone needs me I'll be running a hot bath and getting intimate with razor blades.

4 people per game is ridiculous, and so would be MMO for this game at least.

Too many optimistic minds, remember its Blizzard. People were saying SC2 beta were gonna come out last year, look what happens now. There is no way they will release the beta before the end of next year.

To say that is to ignore what Blizzard themselves have told us. SC2 holiday season 2009 and Diablo 3 sometime 2010. That's what makes since considering a game a year released as they've said.

Honestly im really depressed right now and have no where to turn. Me and my girlfriend broke up after I got my hair cut coincidently
Normally you would think, "what? all he did was get a haircut"
But its differant due to the fact that she was a girl into the scene thing so i suppose hair plays a major role in who they date.

So now I have short hair which is making me really sad due to the fact I no longer look like pete wentz (I was always complemented on my hair)

    I have no girlfriend
    I have no xbox
    I have no skateboard
    and I have no diablo

and I really like another girl in school but
    1. I don't know whether she likes me back
    2. I don't know how to get her number
    3. The school year is almost over which provides me with limited time to get her attention.
Should I add her on myspace? How do I talk to her?

    Quit acting like a b*itch.

Why is everyone mentioning the actual release date? I'm fairly confident in a 2010 release for the finished version but beta could be this year.

Who thinks we'll be seeing a beta version anytime soon? The wait is killing me and with all the changes Blizzard has made from D2:LOD to D3 it seems they'd be at least slightly interested in the opinions and suggestions of the meek and feeble masses that pay their godly salaries.

posted a message on Item Drop Notifications
    Quote from "pwnsickle" »
I'm guessing everyone knows Blizzard's decision with loot distribution. If not, here is the basic idea - each player in a game sees their own drops, and not the drops of anyone else-. . But what if you are playing in a party, and really want an item your partners don't know that you want? (example : the last piece of a set you're collecting) The item could drop for someone else and they could sell it to a vendor or trade it to someone else in another game. I would really like to see the option for "Item Drop Notifications", or something along those lines that pop up in the corner of the screen every time a rare item is dropped. That way, you could politely ask your partner to give you that item or trade for it. Unfortunately, these notifications might distract you while fighting.. so they could pop in five seconds after your final attack, or something that signals you are not fighting a monster.

If you think little "pop-ups" would be annoying you could just turn them off. If anyone else thinks this is a good idea or has a reason it wouldn't work out, please reply.

Great suggestion, I'm quick to admit I'm not pleased with the direction Blizzard is going in a lot of other areas being both a D1 and D2 fanatic, that being said the player specific drops to encourage cooperative play was a great idea and I think your suggestion would enhance that addition a lot.

posted a message on Bossruns change or keep?
    Quote from "Astion" »
In D2 bossruns were both for loot and experience. Unfortunatly in endgame the only thing players did was Baalruns.
Since there was the most XP and best loot in the game.

Now, it can't be good that endgame is focused on less then 1% of the game. Forcing every player in such a tiny area to progress.

How should this be changed to get more variety in the game? Instead of rushing to Baal all day long. Don't get me wrong,
i really loved doing bussruns, solo and grouped. But after a while it could get really boring. And there was simply no real other answer for leveling.

So what do we want to see in D3? Since its not an open world like WoW is.
Options will be a bit more limited.

More randomness? Like scripted random events. Something like, kill this important dude and you will have a chance revoking the demons in that area.
Resulting in a massive beserking force of demons rushing into town and slaughtering anyone to take revenge.

It shouldn't be changed...I don't think anything was wrong with D2 in fact the only thing I wish they'd changed was maybe adding an additional act and obviously improved graphics now that it's 10 years later. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Also, no other answer for leveling? Have you forgot about the cow lvl that served as the main avenue for exp for years?

posted a message on Petition to Put DIII on Consoles
    Quote from "Ftero" »
Would the console version be able to interact with the PC version? That might be interesting.

In my agreement for porting it to console it's on the basis that they would be interactive, otherwise no good. Too many people that own both console and PC would jump ship to console, let's face it an Xbox 360 is designed exclusively for gaming where as a PC isn't. It'd end up splitting the community rather than building on it.

posted a message on Petition to Put DIII on Consoles
I don't see any problem with it being ported to console, it'll only increase the games community, this is, as has been mentioned before, on the basis that it's a better port than D1 was to Playstation. I don't buy in the least all the "no..like ummm..you know...it wouldn't feel right on console or something..." arguments. Who cares if some people want to play it on thier console? I'll never play it on anything save PC but it wouldn't effect your gameplay in the least only let them expierence it as they want too and increase they Diablo community. I personally see all pros and no cons...unless it'll take development longer because they try to do a simultaneous release on both PC and console and have an abundance of bugs to work out for the console version, I'm too selfish to wait for my fellow console gamers, but if it can be done in a timely fashion put the damn thing on console, who cares?
