Feb 8, 2010Shatterer posted a message on Site Down TimeI once had that when making a large RP post. I was actually that annoyed that I waited one day before creating it again.Posted in: News

Feb 7, 2010Shatterer posted a message on The Lighter Side - YogurtIf I was in Bashiok's place (at least, I think it was him) then I knew what I would have done. Searched for something else. I don't like yoghurt and thus I am not that fond of Froyo. If I was forced I would have chosen the vanilla tart, however. Most mocha based deserts I've had were always too heavy on the mocha, leaving me with a nasty taste in my mouth.Posted in: News
Excellent article. I'm surprised this thread hasn't received a lot of attention. -

On the other hand, they might become a small distraction when they're too big. I mean, your character is always on screen. -

You're right. The problem, at least with me, is that I look at the head above all else. So when the head seems odd (especially the hair) the whole appearance is odd. When you play her you probably won't really notice it.
The armour is really awesome. Maybe the reason why it seems odd in the larger picture is that she's wearing heavy shoulder pads on light armour. That would undoubtedly seem odd on any character. -
Feb 5, 2010Shatterer posted a message on Female Monk RevealedPosted in: NewsQuote from "Dauroth" »Who said that she's from a middle eastern region?
Ivgorod doesn't sound Asian to me, it's more Slavic or something like that!
Hmm, yes. So it seems. My apologies, but I remembered them saying that. Heh, I forgot about Ivgorod. That's a cool name, but I digress.
I think that I'm just a bit disappointed. The male monk really looks like a bad-ass Slav, while she looks more like an 80s pop artist.
The shoulder pads might look cool in the isometric view, but it's odd that they are as large as her head. -
Feb 5, 2010Shatterer posted a message on Female Monk RevealedI'm at loss where to post comments any residual comments. There are currently three threads about this.Posted in: News

Feb 5, 2010Shatterer posted a message on Female Monk RevealedIt might be, sure. Why would they hold a challenge which ended a few days before the reveal?Posted in: News
She looks cool, but what is up with those shoulder pads
Also, blond hair from a middle eastern/asian region? Odd, odd, odd. -

Jan 21, 2010Shatterer posted a message on Speculation: Will We Fight Angels in Diablo III?Yeah, I wanted to add Cain to that post. Do you think he ever read Lazarus' journals we read in Diablo 1? Or maybe a lot of that stuff is Horadrim Lore.Posted in: News
Sheesh, I wonder how much that guy actually knows. -
Jan 21, 2010Shatterer posted a message on Speculation: Will We Fight Angels in Diablo III?Yes, but those on Sanctuary never had any reason to think otherwise.Posted in: News
We, as a community, can sit back and look at it objectively. We've got the Sin War books and stuff, so we know a bit what's going on.
The people on Sanctuary are mostly ignorant folk. As far as I know there is nobody on Sanctuary who knows that humans are half-demon/half-angel, that Tyrael is a bit of a rogue angel, and that both Angels and Demons actually see us as disposable in the Great Conflict. -
Jan 20, 2010Shatterer posted a message on Speculation: Will We Fight Angels in Diablo III?I think the Will-o-wisps (lightning guys) from Act 3 and 4 could appear in heaven. Not lore-wise but graphics wise.Posted in: News
The Pandemonium Fortress is the last bastion of Heaven before Hell. From there you can extrapolate how Heaven could look like. Maybe a bit like the Arcane Sanctuary (Oh please yes). Still, Hell changed dramatically from D1 to D2.
Let's just say that I wouldn't find it odd from a lore perspective to fight angels or other heavenly critters. It doesn't have to be in heaven itself, but there are some angels that want to fight us. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Also, are you talking about [ spoiler ] tags or merely red text preceding the paragraph. I'd prefer the actual tags myself.
It would be cool if the moderators could edit thread titles that had spoilers in them.

Well, when you throw something in the trash it becomes public property. First one to claim it wins.

I do like crittercutter's option to go back. It's probably boring to kill simple dudes with a lvl 60 hero, but at least you get all the quest rewards.

They're demons! They're invading sanctuary!
Invaders must die! (Cue the Prodigy)

Edit:
Yeah, spoiler alert in general would be a good idea. You should probably make separate Lore threads, so the discussion in the news threads is divided as well.

I was wondering the exact same thing myself. But what about heroes that just breached nightmare before the expansion. Being lvl 30 in a lvl 35 area isn't quite a happy place to be, especially if each level is such a significant increase as they say it is.

Wait, so the Worldstone sort of became Baal's Soulstone? I never even thought of that. Even more reason for the epic nukage that Tyrael did.
And since we know that the Prime Evils know how to corrupt the soulstones they aren't useful anymore. We have to find another way to banish them. Kind of curious what Blizzard can come up with.

Ah well, I just like to collect all that stuff. My favourite thing to do in Minecraft is dig. Dig Dig Dig Dig: just removing stone all day long and hopefully find some iron or gold. Or perhaps even diamonds ^^. I don't do anything with it, but I like to collect them...
The same goes for gems and items. Since I've been using PlugY I saved all set and unique items I found. I just want to... catch 'em all? Speaking of which, that's my goal in my current game of pokemon blue (which I haven't touched for over 2 months but that's beside the point).

Or perhaps only one of them would get it, making the question who would get it.
If it's random then you know somebody got it, but who? And is that person willing to give that item away?

I will check it out. I don't want to say no to anything I've never tried before :).
Edit:
Too many negatives? Ok, let me rephrase that: I'll only say no to it when I've tried it.
