The Barbarian, the Witch Doctor and the Wizard are all fun to play. I really don't expect there to be any "black sheep" in Diablo III.

Unless there's a beta that you have played or you are playtesting for Blizzard, there is no way to say that any of the characters will or will not be fun to play.
If any of the characters are going to be successful they should at least appear like a group that could be reasonably expected to be found working together in Sanctuary. The Barbarian and Wizard I can see, the Witch Doctor not so much. The witch doctor is the result of trying to replace the role of the necromancer. It just does not seem to mesh with the other characters. A witch doctor is shaman-like, a tribal soothsayer, healer, or voodoo priest. Why would we see this character traveling outside their tribe at all, let alone with strange foreign people whose cultures don't exactly translate well to a "pagan". If there ever is a Paladin again these two together would be ridiculous.

posted a message on Idea for characters. I know I know
I went into detail on a class that combines the aspects of rogue, ranger, and assassin in another thread. I am calling it Night Hunter for the moment. Good with bows and daggers(H2H, thrown, and punch type). Also can set, detect, and disarm traps. Supplements weapons and traps with poisons and explosives. Can use stealth to sneak by big dumb enemies to directly attack the annoying support types(magic/summoning/buffing/resurrecting) after setting traps to cut off their defenders from rendering immediate aid.

Another thought just came to mind. Why does a shield type have to be a paladin? Why not a Death Knight as a sort of paladin/necromancer. Summon skeleton warriors and bone golems to fight by your side, that spread deadly disease when destroyed! Meanwhile your shield is busting demons in the face and running them through with a swordblade as black as obsidian that drinks in the blood of enemies to fuel your dark power. Oops, guess that would make the "Witch Doctor" kind of pointless. I don't really like that character anyways. So out of place for Diablo. Doesn't sound heroic. Kind of a lame reimagining of the necromancer. The game is a ways off from being finished, so who knows... I will continue to hope that a Death Knight style character replaces the Witch Doctor.

And for the fifth and final class you would finally get to play as.... DECKARD CAIN! Identify items with wild abandon!

posted a message on Should a bow/javelin class come back?
No javelins again, pleease! Seriously just make a rogue/assassin cross combination. Someone great with bows, traps, and daggers(regular, throwing, and punch type). Stealth could be used to get past tanklike monsters and set destructive traps, as well as take out summoner/support/resurrecting type creatures in advance. Detecting and disarming traps set in level design could also make this class cool. The assassin class in Diablo 2 was weak, so this couldn't be another assassin. Call this new character Night Hunter or something similar referring to a roguish type with deadly special abilities that is quite capable of singlehadedly hunting down demons and their ilk with skill, cunning, and precision.

posted a message on Day/Night live Cycle in Diablo III?
 I just registered for this site and that was one of the first suggestions I made. I should have seen this first. A 1/24 scale day to night cycle would be about right. 40 minutes of daytime, 20 minutes of night. There could be quests or events that are accessable by time of day, as well as having towns npc activity change throughout day and night.

And I know the light circle idea has been dragged to death and rejected; however, if lighting was dimmer further from the character and darkest behind the character to give a blindspot effect, that would also be cool.

Lighting transitions between day and night would be an awesome touch for the outdoors environments.
