Mar 3, 2009Gamedead posted a message on Mobs that looks slightly different by BashiokWell Will Wrights main focus in the Spore engine was the randomized(or customizable) body parts, much like the A.I for the Sims took 7 years to develop and in both cases the focus of the game was centered around given 7 year development XD. If randomized body parts is anywhere as hard as making customizable ones(in the sense that it works, functional, looks good and doesn't cause crashes every 30 seconds), then i think it would've been one of their larger selling points by now. We can see them flaunting the Havok physics engine left and right, and they're keeping the randomized events in the game which would play into the engine as well, i think the randomized body parts may cause problems on the physics integration side, but it's right at home with the random encounters, so i'd say 50/50 based on those shallow facts XDPosted in: News

I thought they just showed some shots of Beta fill-in dialogs, I did read it late night after a long day of work and school, then didn't give it much attention again until i went back to the website for updates and saw he wasn't there( I thought i either had a realistic dream and was crazy)

Well maybe the subsequent soulstones were deeply rooted/related to the world stone which was just (at first polluted) then destroyed. Maybe he bound himself so as to bend his will away from the council, and at the same time creating an alter-ego accidentally in the process( like Link from Zelda or the prince of Persia) which is what we see as the second angel in Diablo 3, i mean we see blue stone, red stone, every time we click, right in the center of his chest :-p It's possible he was tricked by a higher power to generate this alter ego while he was trying to save the humans.

And as for the plot hole(spoiler)
(what i think is that they didn't change because) The cat wasn't human, and the scientists were poisoned (already dead) before they were vaporized

......
I've always wanted to know what it feels like to wear it ...
But in all seriousness it would make a sick gift for V-day (except my girl's never heard of Diablo 2 so the spikes and demon summoning abilities may not make all too much sense for her)

YES!, those are exactly my thoughts I just didn't know how to put it in words XD

Oh god, now warcraft has completely taken over d2 if this occurs What's next Ankhs for the rest of the classes to balance it out?.... where's the sanity?
Another one of my biggest fears is waiting a very long time for this game, and when it comes out, have to end up playing it just for the story and return to my long buried addiction of D2 in order to work off the misplaced anticipation >:-[ (even with my worries i feel there is a small chance of it occurring but hey people get hit by lightning no?)
