Is it just me or has Bows always been the weaker of the choices when it comes to weapon choice. And I mean in all games. I have this notion in my mind that a bow will always be weaker than a melee weapon.

In real life an arrow can do a LOT of internal damage. In hell difficulty i would expect something asinine like a thirty pound arrow moving at lightning speed towards someone's face!

We all know the bow skills damage were underpowered. Forget about multi shot straif, guided arrow ect. I am saying they need to make the bow MUCH more powerful.

Take a look at how insanely powerful the new barbarian and the new wizard classes are.

If they are going to be this powerful I want to see the arrows and bolts do damage like missiles.

At least make the ranged character be able to do as much damage per shot per second as the wizards ranged spells... maybe more because by default the ranged character is probably not inflicting status effects like stun and silence ect.

Let?s make the ranged attacks much more powerful. I am sick of playing as though Im shooting bbs at tanks.

Heck no. If the game is going to be epic, I don't care in the end how long it takes for it to come out. It just makes me go a liitle crazy in the process, thats all.

Its obvious what the best and most fun act is. Its act 5.

Ever try and play the bowazon in hell difficulty? Ever try and play her without trading weapons with your friends? If you did then you know that diablo 2s hell difficulty was horribly unfair and horribly unbalanced.

Im not interested in playing a game that is 99.9% impossible.

The guy DIED in every video they showed him doing a skill. and BOOKVISION!!!!??? I mean, come on. This rediculous frail looking man was going to beat me on the head with his books? lol and that "SHHHH" skill. That was hilarious...

Perhaps chance of health and mana steel like in diablo 2 with ceritain weapons...

How about a bow class character with auras!? The bow class was one of the support characters in my opinion so why now take that to the next level by giving the new ranged class auras such as health/damage/defense increases? I like the passive and magic tree but I agree with the person who once noted that there where 3 kinds of evasion ect which was really boring and used up a lot of your skill points.

In my opinion, the previous amazon had some good skills but only when you had crazy good weapons/loot. If you found your self in nightmare/hell difficulty and you weren't having much luck finding better weapons you could be stuck for days...gasp.. longer trying to make your character survivable again. Thats why I didn't like the amazon in diablo 2.

Personally, multishot and strafe were the only reasons why I liked the amazon. And considering the eye bleeding amount of time it took to level the amazon and find decent loot for her to do any respectable amount of freaking damage at all... the time at which I could actually use thease skills and plow down screens of enemies finally made this character class worth it. That is, untill you got to nightmare and hell difficulty. Then you were pretty much effed.

But i do acknoladge that thease skills could become over powered once you got some (really) great weapons though.. but you would spend ten fold more time looking for the loot that made your character powerful becuase untill this happened, for the most part it was like shooting bbs at a tank with most enemies...so i can see where emilemil1 is comming from. I think you guys know what I mean..:O

Yea! 3 kinds of evasion and 4 kinds of lightnigng javelin was so boring! ugh they could totally do better than that. I want a really cool ranged character gosh darn it!

I figure that if the sorceress could summon a meteor shower, than we could at least make the "explosive arrow" do more damage than a message therapist inflicts on the backs of their patients.

We might as well have made the amazon run around with a "cudgel" the whole freaking time and done more damage.

Its hard for me to hide the fact that I like ranged characters in general. I know many of you are hard core paladin fans ect.. but I'm wondering how many of you actually liked the Amazon..(I like playing her sometimes, but her skills seemed so week and unreliable in the later difficulties). So I'd like to see a character like this but totally different.

What do you think?:)
