No problems. Glad all those years of drinking finally helped someone. :P

If you dont want a headache then mix in an ascending order.

Meh, a headache is just alcohol's way of telling you that you had a good night. I do agree with the mixing priorities though.

and then we decided to play Wheel of .. uh, I've forgotten the name. Its where you peg a bag of goon to a rotating clothesline and spin it. Whoever it stops at has to drink from it.

We just called it Goon of Fortune. I have played this once when I was very drunk, too drunk to realise I was actually standing at the lowest point around the clothesline so I got the goon sack 90% of the time. >.<

Mint Vodka and Whiskey? Haven't heard of that one before, I will have to give it a go next weekend.

Anyone else have any potent drink combinations that they wish to share? :)

Well obviously there are stats, gear, skills etc. as customisation options. But I would still like to see more visual customisation other than gender and armour. They don't have to be all the same. At least some variation would be nice. I understand that they are heroes that you take through the story, but seeing everyone look exactly the same gets old, quickly. It certainly annoyed me on D2, anyway.

Yeah, not quite sure what they mean "character-customization options for the ultimate action-RPG experience". Hopefully that means we get basic customistion options, even something like that in WoW. Differnt hear and features so not every class looks like an exact clone with different armour.

I doubt that the Bacardi was much better. The burn was a totally new experience though, I've done plenty of shots before, the but the flaming ones are seriously intense.

Take your shoes off or get written on when you pass out? Pfft.

I was at a poker night at a mates place, with way too much to drink (I remember a certain keg that had to be finished) and consequently passed out at around 2:00am. Due to this, a French man (I live in Australia so French isn't common for me) laid on top of me, stroked my cheek, and very gently told me he wanted to bone me in French. I'm aware that sounds gay, but I was very unconscious and have no remembrance of the incident. In conclusion, being written on is a cakewalk. :P

Haha, sounds like an epic night.

What were you using for flaming shots? I've only done them with Bicardi 151 (~80% alcohol content if I remember correctly) with a mate. Everyone else was too much of a pussy to take shots like that. Oh well, good times. :)

Oh, my bad. I've barely played D1. Grew up on D2 instead. Still, I haven't really heard anyone raving about healing in D1 so it must have only played a minor role.

Flaming shots are awesome until some idiot doesn't blow theirs out.

Yeah, I guess there was Holy Bolt (I think that is what you are talking about) but it was quite negligible and minor that it doesn't really count as a proper healing mechanic.

I can't legally drink alcholic drinks yet, but once I had some vodka before not alot tho. I didn't like it. It was like really strong. I guess I was suppose to chug it or something.

Pfft, legal age. Like that has ever stopped anyone (aka. myself). :P

It is also nice to see some Captain Morgan fans, that stuff is what good nights are made of. Also voted for beer and bourbon.

The Exorcist class could be something akin to the Paladin from D2. A melee/tank (compared to a Barbarian which is very offensive) hybrid, probably a defensive/shield tree, vanquish tree (actual damage with bonuses to demons) and perhaps a prayer tree that buffs the party. I doubt healing in any form will make it into D3, as there was not any healing in D1 and D2. Plus a healing mechanic its either way underpowered or everything becomes very healing dependant (like WoW).

I didn't mean more powerful than uniques, just roughly equivalent. Perhaps requiring a similar type unique (unique sword to craft a unique sword recipe) and the recipe plus some other relatively common items (gems probably) to create an item of similar value but different stats.

However, I don't see scrolls being used to craft less powerful randomly generated items, scrolls to me seem to indicate something more precise. However, perhaps there can be an unlocked NPC or more common scrolls to achieve randomly generated stats to a blue or yellow item.

On a different note, perhaps we could consider scrolls to not craft items but imbue them with bonuses. Somewhat similar to jewels and runes from D2, but only provide 1-3 smallish stat mods depending on how rare the item is. For example, a common scroll of plus fire damage to weapon. Could require the scroll, 2 flawless rubies and perhaps something else, to add fire damage to weapon, fairly common (rare quality). Then higher quality (and thus more rare) scrolls could imbue a piece of armor with mana regeneration, mana and increased armor in small quantites. May require 3 perfect sapphires, perfect diamond and a high level unique to be absorbed. This scroll system would work similar to runes for skills, allowing for more customisation. You would probably have to limit every item to 1 scroll enchantment, and probably not for every slot. Just food for thought.

Tradeable scrolls is actually a pretty good idea, I didn't think of that. Would alleviate a lot of the rarity concerns I had, anyway.

Changing an items stats wouldn't be so bad, but I had envisioned that scroll-crafted items would be much grander. They would be on par with uniques and have pre-set stats. This way, the player can attempt to create a scroll-crafted item if they can't find anything suitable. Or perhaps the scroll-crafted items fill a niche set of stats that cookie-cutter specs might not favour, this would allow further character customisation by providing stats for specs that may be sub-optimal.
