I would like to know what monsters from D2 (only standard monsters no unique or bosses) that pissed you off?

    I'll start...
For me it was the fallens. Mainly cuz when i first started playing the first Diablo after killing one of them all the rest ran away so i had to go play hide and seek with them. Then when playing D2 i still had to play hide and seek with the fallens in that game. Yes i know they are easy to kill but when you play with a low level melee character it gets annoying chasing down those little demons.

Definitely. I'd kill all of them, miss one freaking shaman, come back later and they're all back. The little guys in Act 3 with the daggers as well. Killed me more than once by being overrun.

posted a message on Diablo himself. (Mephisto and Baal, too, while we're at it.)
My personal belief is that the Triune Headpriests are tied into the 3 (a part of their soul or some such thing) and that it is they, along with many of their most powerful mages, manage to summon Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto back, but they couldn't summon each of the three seperately, and could only merge the three souls into one to create this Super Evil!

Not sure exactly what you mean. Maybe I'm just having a mind blank over here but I don't understand what it is you're talking about.

Too actiony imo. Not saying it was bad, just not my cup of tea. The storyline was barely understandable because most of the time the actors had to shout to get their lines heard, when they even had lines.

posted a message on Extremely Rare Items in Diablo III
    Quote from "mahamoti" »
The quoted topic is that they say there won't be very rare runes or gems. If they don't want extremely rare runes or gems, it stands to reason that they would have the same policy on other item types...so the core of the topic is really on the existence of, "extremely rare items" vs just "somewhat hard to find items."

There is skill...there is skill in balancing your equipment to maximize MF potential, fighting takes more skill when you are wearing all MF gear, quickly switching back and forth to MF gear for kill-blows takes skill, learning what bosses have what drop rates for the items you want takes skill, and streamlining your UI/travel time takes skill.

I can kill Baal on hell mode 17 times per hour with full MF, and I can repeat that all day long without every dying. Are you telling me there's no skill in that?

If it takes someone else 3 hours to kill him once, then it's really not a question of just "how much free time we have."

You got this crap down to a feraking science. I don't even think about that kind of stuff. To me it's, "Oh look! A good item! Yippee!" Not all this, "I have an increased 89.237% chance to find a magic item which means that the chance of fighting ____ is up to .016% chance now. If it happens on the very last % to 100% then i have to kill Baal exactly 6250 times. Of course there is the chance I could find another jewel to increase it as I have an extra slot in my socketed armor." That just takes all the fun out of the game for me. But, I'm not saying it can't be fun for you. Just that there really is no skill involved. Just a lot of math to figure out exactly what chance u have to get a certain item. Why not just play and hope and if you get the item GREAT! but if not then whatever.

Mount Arreat has been blown to pieces- look at the map :D

I think we might have to go through it at some point though. Like a new refugee camp built in the middle or something. I hope people lived! :(

posted a message on charging up spells
I think we all just need to calm down. Diablo 3 is at least a year away from being released. I was told the end of 2010, Nov. Oct. Dec. somewhere in there. That means they have plenty of time to decide EXACTLY how to fix some stuff. I don't think they're done with the wizard/witch doctor. The Barbarian is perfect, so they don't need to mess with him :P. If you all just wait a little while, I'm sure some kind of brief animation, or some kind of charge, or the imbolization (sp.) will be put into effect if Blizzard sees it fit to do so. Otherwise, they're making Diablo 3. Can't you just be happy about that?

I agree with Ivaron and SFJake. Especially when Ivaron said Spore was a big letdown. Made it to space stage in like, an hour. I wanted more time in creature. That's beside the point though. I kind of like the suspiciousness and all, because it makes me think about it more. I would like small updates, though. Like a map update or something in the Beastiary. Nothing huge like a class or a new area or a new NPC, just small things to make me feel like they're still working on it. I could've sworn I'd posted here before... Couldn't find my post though.

I'm with desmond on this one. I've never gotten bored of Diablo, simply because of how many thousands of different character builds there are. I like the asdtronomical chance of finding a Zod, because it makes me feel like I have something to do, even though the Chinese copy of Diablo apparently drops it freaking REGULARLY!, and getting every rare item in the game hardly constitutes selling and quitting Diablo. I've yet to make a Hardcore passive Barbarian, I'm going to make a passive Barb first to see what he's like and then do hardcore, but all that means is that I've still got something to do in the game. Have you made it to level 99 with every conceivable build of every character in Diablo? No? Then there's still crap to do.

posted a message on SC2 - No LAN support?
Why Blizzard? WHY!? I've never been a big LAN gamer, but I've always wanted to, and I thought Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 would be my chance to get people in my community into a LAN party for these games! No one plays the same games I do. I'm into WC3, D2, SC: BW, Portal, Steam in general, and so on. Everyone here is all, HALO 3 ZOMFGROFLZ! But I really thought I would get a chance with Diablo 3. I still am going to buy both of them, SC2 (and all of it's epic campaigns... just wet myself out of excitement) and Diablo 3 for it's campaign as well. I agree with #6. They have forsaken us loyal Blizzonians.
