1. Unique Builds - Make more builds viable at level 60. Buff the unused weaker spells so we can use them! Let's face it 90% of people use the cookie cutter builds, let's be honest.
2. Paragon Spell Points - Paragon Levels allow you to put ONE stat point into a spell (Max 50 per spell). As these spells gain stat points, they become stronger AND visually more elaborate. Eg. For 100 Paragon levels, you could pump 50 points into something like Gargantuan and the rest spread into others. Have this epic giant tank that is indestructable. He grows in height for every 10 stat points until his head is out of the screen. THIS would be fun as hell. Imagine all the different builds you could have. Archon beam that goes in 6 directions anyone?
Point 2 WILL help with point 1.
3. Monster Power 20 (or more) for this to stay challenging with the above suggestions.
4. Demonic & Heavenly Weapons - (A level above legendary and set items) Weapons crafted outside the known universe in hell and heaven. They will have 100% NEW and UNIQUE affixes attached to them. When one drops and is picked up there is a cinematic. 5 Million gold showers from the sky (don't laugh i'm being serious). These weapons have a 0.1% chance to IRRADICATE. Calling apon a power from either heaven and hell to deal 10000% weapon damage within 20 yards.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
They could contain stats that aren't usually sought after as much like:
Run speed, Thorns, Life per kill, Frost/Fire/Poison/Arcane damage, and of course Magic find and Gold find attached to them.
Maybe I'm missing something, but this would be a win win solution.
More items = more trading for ah. More money for players = better % player success rate. Better % success rate = more players.
Eg.
Ransacking Grand Charm of Flames
105-225 Fire Damage
20% Increased Magic Find
18% Increased Gold Find
856 Life per kill

In the same boat as you mate, I just found a set piece, it is nice, i was so stoked to find it and I got a whole new motivation to play more. The stats are ok, but with the rest of the set it would be a great piece. 'Immortal Kings Will', probably middle of the range according to AH, but it never sells, because there are like 40 of them for sale at least. If i want cash straight away I would have to let it go for like 250k-500k. And to me that is just stupid, 140 hours of gameplay to sell a 1 in like 10,000 for an amount of money that doesn't help me in the slightest. May as well keep it for a barb later if I make one. Which is another 140 hours of gameplay away :/
I am all up for farming, but the cost of good items is literally astronomical, and I already feel the lack of motivation to bother to acquire them.

*edit - i have yet to find all the pieces for the 'pony level' I have 2 of leorics foot, rainbow essence, but that is it, where do i get the rest? (I am at act 2 inf)

I agree with the lack of items to actually equip. Most good items i get are from mates who have something better, or bought on ah. Maybe once in the 200 odd hours, have i picked up an item and it was better than what i have. As for main weapons character specific, pfff maybe half the dps if i'm really lucky.

This, is annoying. I don't know about you guys but i chat to all my mates online, in party or not. When i'm chatting to my mate who is in another game, everytime i want to comment/reply I have to enter/click his name. Rather than before accidently chatting to the wrong person, now i'm sitting there chatting to nobody.
Please revert this if people agree.
