LOL !!! Diablo is the root of many new kind of game !
I just restart to play after ~10 years !!! I find it so better than d2 !! I sad because I find to many lack in d1 and I find d2 miss something in the feeling !
I leveled up and I dispaired no skill to choose lol !

A mix with the maps/levels of diablo 1 and some feature of d2 would be awesome.
Hellfire mod fixes the running issue, in town atleast.The smaller features added in hellfire are quite good.But the meat of the matter, the two new added levels, suck pretty badly.
If I did go back I would see if there are mods for the original D1 and not Hellfire since I do not have that one.
You should check out the Middle Earth mod.Doesn't work with 1.09 though.
Defeated Diablo using my level 25 Sorceror.The fight was such an anti-climax :mad:
It took me like just 8-10 level 7 Fireballs and a Full Mana potion to kill him.
Such a loser of a final boss who doesn't even give worthwhile item on dying is just so frustrating :mad:
Anyway, the rest of the game was really good (and must I say, easy).As they say, Enjoy the journey and not the destination.Is Diablo 2 harder/easier than Diablo.?
@Sabvre: I found a copy of Diablo in my brother's old CDs collection while we were re-organizing stuff in our house recently.Decided to give it a try.To my surprise, the CD was still in working condition.
One thing that worries me is that my rogue, despite being level 16 character, still has damage of 9-14 using Amber Long Bow which seems kinda low to me.Not that he has got pwned badly by any enemy till now, but still wanted to know whether this is a good enough damage at this level.
Am loving every bit of it.! :thumbsup:
I have started as a Rogue and have reached level 7 till now.
A part of me feels it's a stupid thing to start with a 13 year old game, especially when the second sequel to the game is to be released.But then, it's such a friggin' awesome game that I have spent last 3 days doing nothing but playing Diablo.
I guess I will complete the game with all three classes before starting with Diablo 2.
