My current helm on season is 1000/987/6/socket. Most other pieces are this way as well (limited exceptions being amulet and rings), all within 1% of max. And to be honest, I'm not nearly pushing as hard as I can (I'm studying engineering right now, I don't have the time).
What this means: primal ancients are a 0.001%-1% upgrade, even for casual players (I'm a casual this season for sure). That's it. Each piece I find is an infinitesimal upgrade, and after I find one, well, there's no more reason to ever have to find another one, hence no benefit to farming. What happens when you get a full set and you only play wizard? Then you have no reason to play the game at all.
Primals: Might as well be nothing, and will eventually ruin the game.
maybe if you bot 18 hours a day for 3 years you might get items for 1 build.
but what about all the new build and all the new items every patch?
and do not tell me you farm 24/ hours a day to get 10-100 main stat on your items.
most players even stop before finding full normal ancient, the perfect items will make ppl play more but none will ever get perfect stat combination in every slot, (MAYBE THORNS SADER LON with random items)
I was pushing rank 1 in the first few seasons. Most of the pro players belong to communities and really don't interact with the general population. There's teams out there running speed 90s within the first couple days of season. By their good graces, I'm allowed to play with good players, because they know I can do my job as support or dps in a "no room for error" environment. Most players simply don't perform to these standards and hence are inefficient. I don't bot, I have toons with thousands of hours since vanilla on them. I don't really have to play hard anymore, even so, with the crafting system, within weeks of a new season, I am optimally geared.
If you want to instantly point fingers and blame your shortcomings on others, or to simply call them cheaters, it makes you a toxic individual. Maybe you should try talking to people or doing some research before you just spout off, because now I wouldn't be inclined to help you at all. -

There's only so many times you can CC enemies before they become CC immune. It's just the way things work. Good players don't want any more CC from bad secondary affixes interfering with CC/debuffs/control from the group, causing future CC to be ineffective.
It's just the way it is. Anytime someone specifically putting on more CC than necessary (like iceblink gem past 25), they just don't know what they are doing. -

Angry_Roleplayer posted a message on 'Chris on Tour' Around the World (Pictures)Posted in: Off-Topicit's pretty weird though that this guy posts just these pictures.. for the last 4 years.. on a diablo forum. I checked and his last diablo-related thread was in 2012.

Zt1mQ posted a message on Ptr GR Density ProblemsPosted in: Diablo III General Discussionnothing new to me - that blizzard doing bad every patch. they don't play gr at all by themselves.
Some of you guys are happy with this stupid changes, but try to do something high, like 113+ in this meta, you will simply realise that grouping mobs, stacking area damage and fishing for good dencity is the only way.
area dmg can be removed if sets and other dmg bonuses will be improved like x4x5

The point is that people skipped 50% of maps until they found a massive density location.Quote from Catdaddy12»
Being forced to skilp elites you can't kill because it would take 5 minutes without density is not good for gameplay . I'm also speaking only to high leaderboard pushing ... These GR changes will not effect ll players who run lower GR since elites and trash die quickly anyway .
That is not possible anymore, and that is a good thing. This will not affect the lowbies as you said, but it will not hurt the top end either.
Finally, you need to use skill to CREATE Density! Dev Crew, please continue to make more changes that reflect the skill of players, thanks and have a good day!!!! -

Catdaddy12 posted a message on Ptr GR Density ProblemsPosted in: Diablo III General DiscussionGR density and rift density need balancing on ptr.. It appears that the new algorithm spreads the density across all Floors of a rift ? Current meta involves skipping large portions of maps or entire floors to search for denae enough areas to kill elites with area damage from mobs.. If these ultra dense map s and tiles are removed it's likely there will ne a negative power creep in 4 man clears.. There simply won't be enough trash to kill Elites. Spreading trash out doesn't make a better Gr experience unless the density is sustained.
A couple solutions would be .. 1 . Nerf elite health to make it better balanced with trash health in high grs 2. Increase gr density all together 3. Increase elites progress globe value to make up for having to sit in a room killing an Elite after all the trash is Long since dead.4. Balance the freaking mob type progress values! Don't make us fish for floors with certain mobs

Has challenge rift info. I love the idea, but I bet the more hardcore players will complain about it - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Before even being hyped for anything like this you have to fix the core issues with this game. Half the sets in the game are worthless and the ones that are viable have no options for the most part for customization which leads me to LoN which it's whole purpose is customization but it's a weak weak joke. No caps on grs paragons and gem leveling make the game feel as though you never accomplish anything and that only little bit of end game content is boring as fuck. There's nothing to customize gear wise because you always end up with the same stats for damn near every build. Ya some things need to be addressed first before dumping more polished turds after the necro which holy crap that's all a bad joke, onto the pile

For those who don't get why people are complaining about the announcements so far clearly you are both not very smart and aren't a big Diablo player specially Diablo 3 because...anyone can tell you that unless the next coming patch which 2.4.3? Are you fucking serious? If it's not loaded with balancing and tweaking as this game still seriously needs it to make the rest of the sets worth half a fuck an and the whole LoN concept a thing, this game is done even more so. Everyone's basically played any build they wanted to by now which are builds they offer, yes, they offer which is another major core issue with this game that being sets buff specific skills only so it's the devs laying out your play style for you. But everyone's done what they wanted to for the most part so....adding new shit to this fixes nothing, necro , new area, a temporary Diablo 1 thing is meaningless and hypes nothing being that it's going to be dropped into a game that's filled with drab gameplay which as I said has nothing left to really explore or satisfy your curiosity and a horribly boring end game. Until at least the rest of the sets are viable, the "return" they're hoping for will leave them knowing they fucked up aside from hearing from us over the last two seasons voicing or frustrations. Fuck endless paragon grind for mainstat only, fuck no caps on grs you never feel like you're doing good enough, fuck getting to level 70 so fast, they might as well start you there and your set in a few hours at most so all that's left is to find those other few pieces of gear which you have to have in order to do 20billion damage per hit and you find the first weekend of a new season. There's next to no rng or excitement to hunt for anything in this game. The entire core anticipation of an Arpg barely exists in this game. It's basically an Arpg for kids. There we go..Diablo 3 is the hack and slash overhead view Arpg whatever you wanna call it...for kids, spread it around.

TL:DR of the thread, Do it on PC or no one cares, as they shouldn't because: Cheating.
