How are guilds going to be integrated into B.Net 2.0 and is it possible to see a system of cross-game guilds over battle.net, like a glorified friends list?
what is the point of a 4 day long NDA??? Why not just give us all the info as it comes. The only reason i could see a NDA being used is if beta was going to come out on Aug 1st, so they would want to wait for all the info on the game be released along with it. Otherwise NDA is pointless.
They look cool but id rather stick with my turtle beach head phones and my nice logitech G500 that has served me so well. I like the mousepads but wont buy one until i see a wizard stamped on one, which id expect when they release them.
I usually dont write much, but this topic is also important to me. I can say that im in the "equinox camp". IF the inspect feature is to be implemented in Diablo III, let it be every single gamers choice to turn it on or off. No im not the best builder out there, but the principle is: its not your right to see what im wearing or what build I have chosen. Ask if youre interested and you may get a yes....... or no
Oh and im all for an item database.
An on/off switch would be cool actually. Id go for that.
Don't like my games ruined by thoughtless suggestions. Open inspection would be horrible for Diablo III.
The suggestions may be thoughtless but the people who decide to implement them or not are not thoughtless. With that though I'm sure there is going to an inspect feature just to keep people from doing WUG trade window. If someone wants to see my gear I do not want to place all of my items in a damn trade window every time.
As far as inspecting traits/skills, I understand how that would not be as necessary as seeing someones else's gear, therefor I would not care either way if they exclude this feature in the inspect window, and not have it show every detail about ones character. There are those times though that you really need to know the specs of the players in your party for strategy sake for instance if you are taking down a hard boss.
And as far as people copying builds, I'm sure one easy google search will find many different viable builds for that persons class, so copying from one person without knowing if that build would really work for you is dumb and sort of ruins the fun for yourself. Also remember this IS NOT WoW, and it is a very fast pace game with max parties of 4 players. Yes some things will feel like they were taken from wow, but that is because they solve the problem without it the best way possible. They are not WoW mechanics, they are Blizzard mechanics, just because the interface may function in a slightly similar way does not make the game a clone of WoW.
WoW haters will hate, but all the dumbass players aside and easy game mechanics, the interface is VERY polished and a example of good game design.
Love the wallpapers, but was expecting them for something like pre-million... Not what I wanted for the million mark. Oh well, maybe they will see we are slightly downed by this and post a gameplay vid to make us happy
The only thing I'm afraid of is charms in my inventory, i do not like my charms in my inventory... Charm or inventory space for new items! Why must i choose!!!
It only made me want to play it ever more... uggghh. Wizard for ever though. After I play a wiz i might play WD or DH, the barb looks really interesting though buy i hardly ever play melee classes.
IMO what you receive for $175 is fair and decently priced. Blizzcon is an exclusive event, and everything at blizzcon will end up on the web eventually. Its basically the same cost as a years worth of WoW game time. I personally cannot afford this being a college student and having a (hardly) part time job, but compared to other events/trips a person can take, it is not very expensive.
I have been using every viable version of the name saph since i can remember. Therefore that will be my name! or maybe saphara. Saphara the Enticing! YES!
How would heaven work out if they added it to the game? It sounds really awesome but what reason would we have for going there? The heroes are at war with the forces of hell right? Why would we go up to heaven to hack and slash some angels who really are fighting on our side?
The only reason I can see for us going there is if hell invades heaven or something, but that would be strange and out of place fighting demons in heaven. Something along the lines of a outpost in heaven that gives us some quest to head into hell through maybe a portal would make more sense. But still.
If there is lore behind this that I am missing please fill me in
