The "content" I'm referring to is the 120+ different unique dungeons in the game. The enemy variation may lack but the environment variation is very good in my opinion. Other than the dungeons there are tons of different environments. I was just expecting everything to be snow covered but that wasn't the case. I agree also the item number and number of unique items will dwarf that of Skyrim's, but you cant say the environment variation is lacking. That's just not the case.

The fact that I can play Skyrim for well over 300 hours constantly experiencing new content I've never seen and be constantly immersed in extremely well written quests makes this irrelevant. Don't get me wrong good cinematics are nice, and I especially love the D2 ones(I personally thought the d3 opener was extremely stupid and didnt compare to d2's) but while playing Skyrim, there is so much content you just simply don't worry about the lack of cinematics.

Good find. Where did you find that? According to that it looks like a pretty good size team. I agree it has to be the reiteration of major systems that has delayed it for so long. That could be due to inexperience on the team

Bethesta's team of 100 or so people made The elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in 3 years. Less than half of the time d3 has been in production. They developed an entire new revolutionary engine and and a massive game all in this time. Skyrim's content and environment detail is downright amazing. I can almost guarantee it's content and amount of quests will dwarf that of diablo's. And its a 3D environment, unlike diablo. Sure d3 has 3D character abilities and other things, at its core it's still a 2D game. If i had to guess how long it took Bethesta to make that game, I would have guessed 6 years or more. But it didn't.
Another thing people say is that Diablo is an online game. Do you think it really takes an extra 3-4 years to produce online hardware? No.
This leaves no question about it. Diablo's team must be extremely small or they're just extremely lazy which most likely isn't true. A game like this should in no way take 6-7+ years to make. It's just ridiculous.
