Even though OP is a troll with such a lame thread title and post but i still want to add my opinion. All you little whiners, if Blizzard wouldn't reveal planned features at all and just announce the included features would you be happy? pvp in D2 was quite big. It's actually one of the things that held many players in the community and made many people come back to play d2 every time there was a ladder reset. I used to play on NL so i dont really care, its just that pvp on NL was really hard since many people were totally maxed out and not to mention the crazy NL items from 0.8 and such. I am confident that we will get some sort of a team based pvp sometime. Maybe not exactly tdm but something along those lines. I hope they will add the dueling system soon though, cuz really it dosnt sound that hard to implement at all.
All the kids who are like "gg blizz no pvp" are just a bunch of trolls. If they had something good they would have released it since it will surely make them some profit. But apparently its not good so its scratched. Claiming that Blizzard scammed us is just silly. I remember that asshole who had a huge post about how he managed to get his 60 euros back because he kept whining and threatened to sue Blizzard after he spent like 100 hours on the game. All i can say is - Freaking spoiled brats.

Bagstone posted a message on Top 10 Fixes for Diablo 3 - State of Diablo 13 Ep 9As mentioned in other forum threads, not everyone can always watch videos, and since this is a *forum* it would be nice if you could put a summary to your videos.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
There's a thread where many people posted and discussed their top 10 fixes (http://www.diablofans.com/topic/81730-my-top-10-things-that-would-make-d3-better/) and the time it takes to listen to your video you can read that thread 5 times and get input from 20 people. Don't get me wrong, many people found your previous threads to be useful, but this really feels like you're just taking an interesting thread from this forum, put it into a (WAY TOO LONG) discussion, upload an audio file on a video platform, and gain clicks by using this forum as advertising.
If anyone could summarize which ten points out of the other thread these guys found to be their top 10... thanks! -

Those casual players, like to use the RMAH to buy stuff. The game is directed to them. That's why they put little effort in giving the game any kind of replayability.
I'm going to make two points here..
First, a statement like that requires citation. There is no way that you could possibly know that casual players use the RMAH more, or less, than hardcore players. Without a citation, your entire premise is worthless.
Secondly, even if you are right, you're still only addressing HALF of the transaction - the purchaser. There still have to be sellers, and logic would dictate that hardcore players generate more saleable items per capita than casual players, and therefore hold a higher percentage of RMAH sales per capita. Being that you cannot purchase an item that isn't for sale and that you cannot sell an item if there is no one to buy it, you cannot just look at the RMAH from a "who is clicking 'buy'" perspective and use that to attempt to extrapolate who Blizzard is catering to.
Remember the guy who made over $10k in RMAH money within a few weeks of it going live? I sincerely doubt he was a casual player, and I'm willing to bet that there are plenty more like him who are also not casual players.

How far they got with "internal testing" we all saw at D3 release^^
There is a Playerbase with millions and millions of dedicated Gamers who could test stuff on the Beta Servers.
Brilliant Minds with crazy Ideas on how to improve the Game.
Blizzard refuse to actually benefit from this. They rather test with the Muppets intern, who apperently dont know shit.
Why would they bother to take feedback from people, like yourself, who are so hell-bent on trolling them that nothing they do is right? Not enough internal testing on Inferno... flame and troll Blizzard. PvP didn't go to PTR for us to determine if it was good or not... flame and troll Blizzard. One day people are complaining that they need to take internal testing more seriously and the next day it's people complaining that their team is "muppets" and that everything should just be deployed directly to the PTR.
They're a company and they work by adhering to procedures for development and deployment. Are you suggesting they completely scrap internal QA testing? If so, are you willing to deal with the consequences? Because, make no mistake, there will be consequences. The PTR is generally not for alpha releases. That's why it's called "beta testing" and from what the blues said it sounds very much like PvP did not make it out of alpha.
You know... software development... the same shit that damn near every other company on the planet does. -

Well first you came in here whining and screaming, so instead of getting butthurt you COULD try adding to the thread. Or sit in a corner if you really want, doesn't matter. -

Now. If you want to complain that D2 was better in my eyes your arguments are beyond false. If you _truly_ believe that then I suggest you go play D2 because Diablo 3 will _never_ be its predecessor and you will _never_ be happy with it. That's how video games work. If you want to complain that Torchlight 2 and/or Path of Exile are better games then what the hell are you doing here? Why cause he commotion? Why be unhappy? Go play those games, no one is stopping you. Go be happy somewhere else if you're not over here. For the money people have invested in this game they've gotten hundreds of hours of gameplay, when the average for video games nowadays is 40, sometimes down to 20, for the same price. If the journey so far has really been that poor for you then do yourself a favor and just go be happy somewhere else.
Because it's much more fun to act like a whiney little brat on the D3 forums and complain about how bad Blizzard is than it is to pick up TL2 and quickly realize that, despite its flaws, D3 really isn't as bad as anyone makes it out to be. That little bit of perspective could crush someone's reality, you know. Like I said, the D3 "community" is not the forums. The forums, including these, are littered with armchair quarterbacks - you know, overweight, balding, 62-year-old guys who all claim they could have made that TD pass that Brady botched, but in reality couldn't squeeze their asses into a football uniform let alone throw the ball more than five yards downfield. That is the D3 "community" as represented by the majority of the forums.
The title of this thread is a prime example. Sure I can understand that people are FRUSTRATED with Blizzard's decision to push PvP back more. It FRUSTRATES me too. But "Blizzard is a Joke" is hardly a good expression of said FRUSTRATION. It's an angsty, self-entitled, teenage response to "No, son, you can't have the car keys today." And that's why it's so easy to typecast people the way that TheDemokin did because, frankly, it's pretty difficult to believe that the "feedback" we see on a daily basis is actually coming from adults.
Just look at this thread. The people who are upset tend to communicate as if they dropped out of the 3rd grade (major trolling, calling Blizzard fags, incoherent thoughts, ranting and raving, rampant bad grammar and typos). It's VERY difficult to take that in as anything but a temper tantrum from a child. If you want to be taken seriously then voice your concerns in a manner which they can be taken seriously. If you want your concerns to be ignored then act like a troll. I am willing to bet that most people would find that there was much more serious discussion of the topic if the thread weren't one giant troll from the start.

I'm an "actual D2 player" - played D1 and D2 for many since their releases, and am in my 30s...
...and I think that D3 is technologically a step up from both games. But gameplay, no. It might beat D1 but doesn't come close to D2, in my opinion. D2 wasn't boring to me either, even before LoD.
And the story of D3 is just total shit. I could have written a better story putting a marker in-between my toes and spinning around on a large roll of wax paper completely drunk off my ass... and that's if you read it with the vomit still on the pages. The story is absolute trash.
I was giving your post a chance til you went the "I COULD DO THIS BETTER THAN BLIZZARD" route. The only thing that's "absolute trash" is the number of people who claim they could do X, Y, or Z, better than people whose salaries depend on them doing a decent job of it. If you walked into a starving artists convention and proclaimed that you could paint better than all of them they'd welcome you to give it a whirl and back that big mouth up with some big action. So, instead of claiming that you can write better stories, how about you go and get hired by a major game developer and write a better story for a game that sells 10+ million copies and really show us that you're not just blowing hot air around. -

shaggy posted a message on Blizzard is a joke...Reading this thread I think the only safe conclusion that we can draw is that the internet is full of armchair quarterbacks and Monday morning coaches who claim to know how to do everything better but only after they've seen mistakes.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The best thing I did to improve my enjoyment of D3 was to stop coming to these forums because it's full of whiney people who will absolutely never be happy with anything under any circumstances but take great pleasure in trying to make everyone else miserable too. Sure there are some people who can see the forest for the trees and I applaud them, but the majority of the posters here are self-righteous, indignant, twats who wouldn't be happy if Jay Wilson personally delivered them a gold-plated Lamborghini. Nope, they'd go to the forums and whine that they wanted a Porsche 911, or that the gold-plating process took too long.
Misery loves company and so does hand-wringing. -

Ducha posted a message on Anyone looking forward to the changes? Is anyone actually looking forward to the different PvP system they're putting in? Because I am!Posted in: PvP Discussion
I like that they're going for something different to the whole arena style PvP. It looked like great fun at Blizzcon, but it just seemed like the easy way of dealing with PvP (let's just chuck an arena in there, that will make them happy!). It will be interesting what they come up with
I pretty iffy on dueling being brought back, but only because of how the classes are at the moment (that's assuming they won't change the classes with or before the patch). Buuuut I won't lose any sleep over it!
And please, let's try and not turn this into a "blizzard isn't what they used to be" discussion. -

TheDemokin posted a message on Blizzard is a joke...There will always be 2 types of gamers:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The actual D2 players:
The gamers from that era are no longer 18 or 19 years old, we're more like late 20s even 30s - we know how the world works, we've lived with absolute rubbish games back in the day and we appreciate the up and downsides of D3. We also know that Blizzard generally still provides the best quality and content when compared to any other game developer out there.
I think to this layer of gamers the game is ok. It's not brilliant yet, but it's definitely not something to cry about every day before sleep. 40-50 bucks is not something to cry about either, hell - beer for one night could cost way more than that. D3 is a potentially fantastic platform, give it some time and it will possibly develop into superb game, just like D2 did with LOD release - because lets face it original D2 was pretty damn boring.
The i played D2 gamers:
Yep they are early 20s or even below that, yet somehow despite the simplest calculus they played D2 for many years, even the original... These guys want INSTANT GRATIFICATION. They want to whine and cry and demand things - because lets face it - the modern society rewards whining and crying and demanding - that's the only thing they know and that's the only thing they will ever do.
They are the one and only mistake Blizzard ever made - listening to QQQQqqqQQQqqqQQqqqQQQ. Back in the day Blizzard never did bother with as much 'community management' or even really reading forums. They just released content and it was a simple decision - play it if you like, if you don't - there are many other games to choose from.
Today, because of all these QQs Blizzard actually made a step forward towards community and started working with the community (unlike any other game developer out there), and the only result of them trying to 'satisfy' the 'instant gratification generation' is the incessantly increasing amount of QQ. Because now...the QQers feel empowered! Blizzard did react to them a few times and that was their biggest mistake.
Hence there will always be 2 sides to this argument, and this argument is not based on the game itself, it is rather based on the perception of the world in general and the gap between generations. There will never be any agreement about it or any solution. If 'instant gratification' is not achieved = it's shit. End of story. Screw waiting, screw everything. I paid 40 bucks i want it NOW. While the rest of us are thinking 'wdf have we done to our younger generation? Should've sent them out to work at the age of 16 like we did instead' -

Not saying I don't hear everyone else's concern of course. Hopefully something good comes out of this. I doubt it'll affect me in any way though, still incorporating even more MF into my normal gear.

You want to steadily progress (from A1 to A4) from 200 to 650+ All Resist. From 3500 to about 7000+ armor. From 100 to at least 450 Life on Hit. About 1.50 Attack Speed minimum. From 20k to about 35k+ Health.
If wearing a shield helps you get there get one with at least 20% block. Be mindful on how much damage they block as well. Resistances are also very common on shields so that helps a lot.
From 10k to about 30k DPS. That is heavily dependable on Attack Speed and Critical Chance/Damage modifiers. I'm at 20k and have very little Crit Chance but 1.74 Attack Speed.
So there, anything else?

The driver issue on the other hand was a goof on ATI's part, which they hotfixed. Blizz simply said "these drivers will harm the game's appearance, so we're not going with them". In this case they're "banning" that version of the software as to, again, make an example of it.

Basic Information
While some dedicate their entire lives to learn the skills of a mage, some are just born naturally talented. This self-proclaimed Wizard was a prodigy and seeks to surpass any magic wielder before them. With the ability to conjure the elements such as lightning, the Wizard has also moved on to control the Arcane itself being able to manipulate both time and space. While others are in the fight to rid the evil from the world, the Wizard is out just to prove her skills are better than any other who oppose her.
