posted a message on Trading un-id items?
    Damn you Nuvian!

You can't list unidentified items on any of the Auction Houses. You can trade it to friends by opening the trade window or dropping it on the ground though.

sadly I can see a few people not putting spoiler tags just to spoil the fun for the rest of us.

I can't think of a game where that hasnt happened =(

I need to check to see if IPBoard supports key word auto unapprove. so posts that have key spoiler words get auto unapproved or something. But still.. issue there is the spoiler has to get put out there to know what to look for =/
Yes. Words like "Diablo", "hey" and "I think".

posted a message on Has D3 lost their true diablo fans?
    Quote from CorDa616

You know...I'm a true Diablo fan. Been waiting 10+ years for D3. However...staying off this forum (I'm new) does not make me a fan or not. I just don't need a pat on the back to remind me I am a fan. Why? Because I AM and no one can convince me I am or convince me I'm not.

A true Diablo fan will never be put off all the crap most of the people on here bitch about.

    Internet connection?
Sure, I didn't have one... so... I GOT ONE
    Money?
Was a bit tight..made a plan and got the CE
    Free time?
Made sure I have some, or A LOT
    RMAH?
Pfft, didn't need it before and won't need it now

The only thing that will make me HATE D3 is the storyline - if it sucks I will toss it in the fire and watch it burn and I will WRITE my own Diablo 3 - story wise.

The only thing they can screw up in my opinion is the story.

I don't care about the RMAH, I don't care about anything except the storyline.

This guy is speaking for me as well.

posted a message on Merchant exploit / bug?
    Quote from VacuumLooter

I also got stacked up on rings there mainly +6 exp per kill to help me fasten the leveling. But couldn't this concep of unlimited blue be exploited in a way for obtaining essences for salvaging?
The blue items on the merchants right now are pretty expensive 1000-2000 gold. You buy one to salvage one component. You need at least 3 components to craft one of the weaker items from the BS. That's 3000-6000 gold. Means you're buying the blue item from the BS for triple the price - and the stats for the crafted item are random. You might not get anything your character needs at all.

Now for the other thing - in D2 you could buy blues from the vendors as well. In Normal it was pretty ok. In the later parts of the game the blue items become much, much more expensive, to the point where you only buy them because they've somehow generating an awesome combination of stats.

I don't see that being exploitable into salvaging all thing on the vendor.

It's still debatable exactly what Bashiok meant. We should wait a bit for clarification before going into assumption-mode. :)
