I have the solution to hardcore arenas!!! Please show this to someone who matters!! Hopefully they are thinking along these lines.
Add another option for Hardcore members. Allow them to participate in Deathmatch type games, where they can have fun, pvp and not die. But add another system, with some sort of incentive/prestige that is a MATCH TO THE DEATH, in which case, two sides join, only one side leaves. (possibly not even the whole side will leave!!) Basically, if oyu die you die, if you kill 15 characters, you are crazy epic. Add some sort of reword, Gold prize? IDK
omg, I HOPE inferno isn't a difficulty of all higher level mobs, that drop higher than average items, and can be completed once a day.. SOUNDS LIKE WORLD OF WARCRAFT INSTANCES.. kekek
One thing I HATED about world of warcraft is the tiers of gear kept increasing, and you would have the BEST gear one month, then the next month it would get increased a little, all that work down the drain!!! One thing I loved about diablo is that items didn't really change too much, and even when new items came out they were of same level based on their rarity. I don't want to have to keep farming items to keep up with competitiveness. .. Yeah so, someone comfort me and tell me this won't ever happen. THXXX
It's not necessary at all, but I would be welcomed. Honestly, I would just like it to be able to talk to everyone while in game. /guild chat would make it all worth it for me.
Nothing's stopping you from having a clan teamspeak, ventrilo, or mumble/jabber server. Honestly, I feel like this just comes out of the very entrenched WoW mindset a lot of gamers have now. There's an expectation to have a lot of similar content and it just doesn't suite the game of Diablo like it did there.
Don't confuse higher expectations with a "wow mentality" . Games now adays are not really solo played, specially one that requires 100% online all the time. When you're online, you might as well share your time with others.
All these new ideas sound great, but I wish they found some way to implement A guild interface. I love the community that comes around playing with a guild. There would always be a leveling party, people to talk to while grinding. Idk just feels like its missing this aspect. IDC if older diablos didn't have it. I am looking for this game to progress and I LOVE blizzard for trying new things.
I don't know if it's my experience in other guild-cetric games putting me off it, or my nostalgic love of Diablo/2, but I just cannot envision guild systems that mesh with Diablo. That's simply a level of organization above what's necssary to enjoy the game. Bnet tools allow you to have a laundry list of friends if you wish, you can have your own private channel too. To say that adding guild pariphienlia is a waste might be going too far, but i'd certainly rather have blizzard focused on the content at hand rather than trying to push in guild things just because every rpg has something similar.

I am 100% for this randomization of runes. It will allow us to try new things we would never have tried without it. If we already knew what a rune would do, we would find that rune we want, and never try anything else... now we'll have to "look" for that elusive rune that we want... I LOVE IT! I REALLY REALLY HOPE THIS GETS IMPLEMENTED.
