posted a message on Diablo Fans website crashing constantly
what addons if any are you using?

The main issue I could find was that you are using IE ^_~

but on a serious note, an error log or something as noone else has reported this would be nice.

it adds character, I couldnt stand to watch a 11 min video of just "talk about this and this" adding "himself" to the video makes it a better watch imo.

    To each their own.

I got a few fast pace skill videos will be putting up soon as well, but it all depends on the users. Some like just the skills, some like the speaker to be "them"

    posted a message on targeting
Umm tommm, it would be "easy" for them to stop ui mods for the real version of the game. Can there be some made? Sure, but blizz will just update warden and do a ban wave like they do In all their games. Editing ui in the way needed with d3 would be easily detectible when blizz knows what to look for. ( unless we get into overlay ui mods that inject into the client) those are also detected in time, and blizz will ban wave those, then user will update to be stealthy, then blizz will at some point update and ban wave again... In the end, for normal users that care about not getting banned ... Ui mods won't happen for them

(also editing things in mpqs will set warden off)

Thus,ui mods like they are referring to ( where you can just alter stuff you like ) won't be happening/be used due to the risk.
So, don't talk to other user like that, they are allowed to state ther thoughts

Notice 3:50 red glow instead of outline

    However, more important

    Official Blizzard Quote:

there is no option to toggle the red outline
You're right, there's no toggle option for the red outline in the current version of the beta, but please keep in mind that several options are currently missing and/or not available.

The release version will include more options related to graphics and gameplay.

Keep in mind our blue tracker for eu is not working

I just did. It's so hard to accept that there is no international conspiracy behind the postponement of a game?
The game was not in the condition we wanted it to be = we postponed it.
It should not be difficult to accept, we do it almost always, is not exactly new.

Get three friends to join a game and go afk, and play naked. It makes it a little harder.

posted a message on Can we say Merry Christmas ?

    Official Blizzard Quote:

'Tis the season once again, and one never ceases to be amazed about how fast time passes… or perhaps this is just a sign that I am getting old ;-)

Anyway, this seemed to work quite well last year, and so without further ado, here is the most Politically Correct holiday greeting ever conceived by mankind :-)

Please accept with no obligation, implicit or explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practised within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with total respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, and their choice not to practise religious or secular traditions at all.

    Additionally,

A fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2012, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our society great, without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, sexual orientation and choice of smart phone and computer platform of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and no responsibility for any unintended emotional stress these greetings may bring to those not caught up in the holiday spirit.

This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is either revocable or limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

This greeting is void where prohibited by law.

the game will definately be released. But it won't be before June 2012 if we're lucky. Maybe a christmas gift next year if we're realistic. Maybe 2013 if things go poorly. But theres no way in hell its an "early" 2012 game anymore.

based on inside information I take it.

Uhh... who didn't know this already?

I support the Op, nice post. You on the other hand are why we need a Vote DOWN arrow on posts.

i agree with him, this is a diablo fans site, meaning everyone coming here is a fan therefor the mass majority of them already know this simple information. anyone who's spent 5 minutes on the main website knows this information. as well as anything about runes and skills and artisans so threads about them are pointless because its always posted on the front page. so anyone who wants to know everything about diablo can just go to news and announcements can they not?
wrong, not everyone in the world knows this information, they may search, or look for a community that has the answers they are looking for. Bam this pops up in the search engine for one example. They see this is the kind if information users post, and they now become part of the community.

    Fantastic posts OP
