I'm sure most of you are already aware, a lot of Diablo III Beta information has been leaked over the long weekend. As crazy as this may sound, no, the Friends & Family Beta has not started yet. Unfortunately, while Blizzard has stripped the actual data out of the client, it seems as if the Stringlist files (text) for everything past Act I still remain in the client. That in mind, it's very simple to datamine some information that spoils the story progression, for example, the secret level and the end of the game. When I first stumbled upon this information myself a week or two ago, I knew it was bound to come out sometime, I just assumed that we'd have a little bit more time before it did actually come out. Regardless, being in the official fansite program, I would prefer not to leak information that isn't already out on the net (yes, there is still information that has yet to be found), however it is our job on DiabloFans to keep the player base informed of all the happenings with the game. Here are some recent topics about the leaks:

String theory is just a load of bollocks. It was the hot topic and now it's slowly dying as scientists have tried to find any evidence for it -- to no avail. It is just math, and seems to be incorrect.
There is no need for a wormhole for traveling to the future. All you need is a concept called "time dilation", which makes time go slower the faster you go. What this does, that i've already explained, is rotates a magnet and harnesses the energy that it creates. This happens because the magnet rubs up against the magnetic field that is the whole universe, and puts out energy (more than the energy requires to turn the magnet). The reason there are only some spots with a magnetic field is only certain objects bring the field out, it actually exists in sub space.
Second of all, quit regarding everything you've read from the start of time as fact. The only 'fact' that we know is that with all our knowledge of physics and the universe, we know almost nothing. Try opening up your mind to think ahead instead of closing your mind to think in the footsteps of others. -

Let me just give you guys a little insight on my thought process with this. Markco posted here for quite some time before ever putting up any sort of link to advertise with, in the end when he finally did it was just this tiny link that he asked about and I worked it out with him as long as he doesn't link to a site where you can directly purchase anything it's fine. He kept his link small, and it's just a small blog about how to use the RMAH and economy to your benefit according to his observations. That doesn't mean everyone should rush out and buy it, or even have to click the link. I can't understand why people are so angry about it.
Newer people with fewer posts I've allowed to post their youtube channels and videos. You all realize they can potentially make money from that right? So what is the real issue? PM me with further concerns, do NOT disrupt the forums and discussion with the arguing.

I gave her a more conservative top. Is it such a big deal to anyone now? Now that ... 3-4 inches are gone? I thought we could have a mature discussion about this guys, come on. The classes in Diablo 3 are arguable just as revealing. That's what made it more accurate to the photos.

I care very much about what happens on these forums, that why I've stuck around. I don't like to limit discussion where it's not necessary. Just like it's not illegal to discuss drugs in real life or to admit to using them in the past, it's not against the rules to discuss hacks/bots here or admit to using them in the past. If at some point in the future I feel it's becoming detrimental to even discuss bots I'll make a rule to disallow it but right now without the actual game even being released there is little harm of just discussing the subject.

People can admit to anything but at the end of the day, they're not hacking this site, they're CLAIMING to have hacked/botted on a game that we have no control over to stop it besides reporting it. Which is what we did.

The first thing we did when we caught wind of it was report it to Blizzard, in the end that's all that can be done really.
