2. As sad as this may be, Diablo 2 has been a large part of my life. Through elementary, middle, and high school (and even a couple girlfriends), there was always Diablo. All of its loot grind, kill-everything-in-sight glory. It never got old. I played plenty of new releases on PS2, 360, Wii and my PC, and none of them have ever hooked me like D2 did. I crave to feel that again. I crave to be excited to wake up just because I know that Diablo and his horde of minions will be waiting for me. I crave to play a game that no matter what I happen to be doing, even playing by myself, I feel connected to a legion of demon slayers like myself. I want to have that excuse of "5 MORE MINUTES" actually mean something to me again. I wait because I worry that every single day, I grow older and more mature, and video games will never mean to me what they used to. I hope, nay, I pray that Diablo 3 can make me feel that way again.
I wait because I don't want to grow up. -

Daemaro posted a message on Who needs SOPA?(This post represents my personal opinion only)Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
The government has no problem with showing us who is boss. The day after people protest SOPA the government overreaches its bounds and pull a move right out of the SOPA act itself.

Now MegaUpload is a pretty popular site for uploading lots of things. They also like any other upload site get pirated material but they always shut it down pretty abruptly. They should fall under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act which has many provisions that provide safe harbor for companies.
What safe harbor essentially does is say "As long as you're doing your best to remove illegal material you are not liable for what your users do."
What SOPA would change is that very thing. It was to hold the sites liable for what users upload, which is obviously impossible when you look at larger sites which copyrighted material is posted all over such as wikipedia, facebook, and youtube. It seems they want to make it clear they do not need SOPA to do what they want. -

OmniNom posted a message on Development and DelaysEveryone and their dog keeps making posts about Blizzard delaying release of Diablo for financial reasons. I'm going to ignore all the reasons that this idea is ridiculous.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
AFTER listing them.
1.)Delaying past Christmas misses the biggest sales period of the year, which will surely lose them hundreds of thousands of sales
2.)Continuing production means paying all the developers working on it for that much longer, further decreasing the net profit
3.)The beta still has plenty of bugs, battlenet features are unfinished, and the runes system is still being fooled around with, so clearly it's not ready for release
4.)Delaying release makes stockholders nervous, and since information given to them is public, we know what they know, and they have been notified of no sinister delay conspiracy. So Blizzard would be devaluing its own stock.
5.)It's fucking Blizzard. Since when are long development cycles unusual?
But we're ignoring this, because the most ridiculous part isn't all the very obvious reasons why the idea is insane. The most ridiculous part is the fact that some people think that their own personal convenience means more than the budgets and development cycles and physical health of the development team.
People working on Diablo 3 have been in crunch time (60+ hour weeks) for something like eight months. The company has sank millions of dollars into the project. The development team has spent 5+ years of their lives putting their blood, sweat, and tears into the game.
But your own impatience overrules all objections. The game should be released NOW, because you're tired of waiting. It's not like there are any other things in your entire life you could be doing.
If that doesn't sound not only absurd, but incredibly callous, then you have some life issues to work out. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

If you have nothing to add on the subject, just don't post please. This is just a warning thread to make people who didn't know yet (that includes me) that spoilers are officially out.

From those numbers, I can see your drivers are out of date. If you follow the link to the newest driver for your graphics card (http://www.nvidia.co...hql-driver.html), you can see that the version is 285.62, as yours is 267.85.
You have 2 ways to update your drivers :
1) Go to the Device Manager (Control Panel -> Device Manager and click on the arrow to the left of "Display adapters" or double-click on it). Right-click your GPU and select the "Update driver(s)" option.
2) If that doesnt work (the device manager says the driver is up to date even though it's not), follow the link to the latest driver (http://www.nvidia.co...hql-driver.html) and start the installer.
Seriously, I can't believe I didn't think about updating the drivers first. I always forget the most basic solutions
PS: On the text editor, you will find an icon with a tree on it (below the text color/smiley one). Click on it and paste the URL of your image.

To remove the Forceware driver, you should find it under Control Panel -> Programs. Right-click on the Forceware driver and select "Uninstall"/"Remove".
PS : I *think* (99.99% sure) that Hypnotiq stopped reading after his quote
