posted a message on Help - No Sound From Speakers
Ah, I got sound now. Apparently it wasn't detecting the speakers in the jack so I had to jam it in harder and wiggle it. However, I am now only getting sound from one speaker (the main one with the volume control). The second speaker is hooked up properly but isn't making any sound.

    Hmm..w/e, I'll take it =P

It should be. Everything that I have gone through seems to be set up correctly for using speakers. Where specifically should I look to double check?

    Windows xp btw

I'm using some speakers hooked up to the onboard audio on my Asus M2N32 SLI deluxe Motherboard.

About a week ago I was on my computer and noticed a popup that kept appearing asking which jack I intended to plug the speakers into, I kept hitting okay and everything remained fine. Finally I got tired of the popup appearing (after it happened 20+ times) and I disabled the popup by checking the box on it so it would not appear again. After that I noticed that my sound was gone. It has been gone ever since.

I have made sure that everything is hooked up correctly, I have checked all my audio settings to make sure that they are right and should be working properly, and I also just reinstalled my audio drivers. After all of this, my speakers are still not producing sound (I have tried two different sets of speakers). What could this possibly be? What should be my next step to get this issue resolved?

    Thanks! ;D

posted a message on Help in upgrading my CPU (will my mobo support this?)
Lame! So should I look to get a new motherboard as well? Maybe spend 100 dollars on a mobo and get that processor?

I also need to drop about 100 on a new PSU and new RAM.

is this going to be very complicated to upgrade?

So the Motherboard I have is: Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition

    found here:
    http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM2/M2N32SLI_DeluxeWireless_Edition/#CPUS

My question is: will it support either of these 2 CPUs?
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103809&Tpk=AMD Phenom II X4 945

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808&cm_mmc=BF2011_listing-_-343-_-N82E16819103808&nm_mc=BF2011_listing

I was looking at the list but I'm not sure if "Phenom X4 9550" is different than "Phenom X4 550".

If you can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Trying to upgrade my computer here! :D

Jealous of her hotness. She's much better than fat wizard.

It's the influx of so called wow-kids who play arenas in 2k-2,4k MMR and think they're good and who also think of D3 as their next game. They'll plague D3 for a few months after release, but they'll return to wow or some other MMO. Just ignore them and play the game however you want it.

A bit OT, but isn't PvE wow term? It used to be PvM when I played D2.

No, "PvE" was around before WoW.

posted a message on Infinites in D3 I think YES!
    Quote from akainu

So, were did this infinite = stun lock idea come from I've played plenty of games and never heard stun lock called infinite EVER. And they're not haters just because they didn't hop on your thought process and agree with you. While in theory your idea might be doable, you have to take into consideration grats you have 3 barbs stun locking 1 guy in a 3v3. But, in return you now have 3 stun locked barbs in a 3v3.

P.S. Don't assume people are stupid/nubs just because they don't recognize your abstract terminology.

Edit: does it sound like he's trying to be cooler than he is.

    example:

Infinite's are usually to "style" on a player.

It could just be me mind you. *shrug*

    That is all.

    Exactly...

To the OP, I wouldn't go calling people on a D3 forum nubs because they haven't ever heard the term "infinite", especially when the term comes from Smash Bros. I'm sure that there are a lot of people that have never even played the game, and some may not even own consoles.

To respond to your topic though, I believe I found a monk build that can chain stun (stun lock, infinite) you. I also believe that I posted it on this forum. This is assuming that there is no stun immunity timer, or no reduced stun time in pvp.

The build I was looking at was using a $180 AMD chip (6 core). I'd like to stay around the 200 range, not much over.

And yes. Hpnot1Q is the name I was looking for. Thanks.

Edit: This would be for a new build. Looking to go 6 core, 6gb RAM, 2 nvidia 570s.
