One that procs this for sure is Pirhanas - Bogadile. Even though Pirhanado says that enemies within it are stunned, it still does not proc the Vaxo effect.
As a Pet/Fetish player, I didn't find the Vaxo effect to really be worth it, in place of a good amulet with Int CHC and CHD. They didn't seem to do that much damage compared to the usual pets. I may be wrong in this observation however. If your vaxo has good stats outside of the proc effect, then I'm sure it'll do much better.
Just found a Sever 1H sword in Torment. The "Enemies rest in pieces" affix makes the killing blow on any enemy do immense damage. For example, I only have about 350k base damage, and I landed a killing blow crit for 510 MILLION damage.
I know that people have said it works great if you have a life steal skill or item, but I play a monk, and no longer have any of my pre RoS life steal items.
My question is then, does this massive killing blow damage factor into area damage? For instance, if I stack area damage on items and in paragon points, will this final blow function more or less as a nuke? Or is it pretty much a useless effect without life steal?
It demolishes the other runes for the skill, and every other wd skill as far as raw power. I tend to use acid cloud to proc life on hit, but I assume if I got my hands on a great life steal weapon, bears would take over again.
Dunno if this was covered anywhere, but I noticed that after killing Haedrig's wife in act 1 normal, instead of just walking out over the town bridge, it now teleports you to the area outside town. No more 'they just keep coming, stand your ground' part anymore.
Do tell me if I'm wrong on this.
This was changed a couple patches ago, to prevent monsters from going inside town.

Switching from wiz to dh allowed me to actually kill later act inferno elite packs before they enraged. Wiz dps, especially while kiting, was seemingly low.
My girlfriend, the other day, just came out and said she wanted to play D3 with me. She gave up on learning SC2 almost immediately, isn't into pretty much any of the other games I am, but she tried the beta out, and not only enjoyed it, but was also into the idea of being able to play as female characters that weren't put in games just to flaunt their colossal boobage.
Diablo is classic good vs evil, with humans left to create victory for either side. It could be dark, scary, epic, and a restore-faith-in-humanity piece.
As much as I love Starcraft, for some strange reason, sci-fi just never hits as close-to-home as heaven and hell stuff. It's one of the reasons why, for example, Indiana Jones:Raiders of the Lost Ark was great, and the new one was somehow, seemingly more far-fetched. Even if you're into big armies fighting, a movie about the struggle between good and evil with a smaller cast will likely be more compelling. Starcraft as a movie would likely be awesome but a bit corny and reliant on big CG battle scenes. Diablo could be the heart-wrenching tale of one person's struggle to fight pure evil.
Remember the cutscene in D2 where Marius sees the 3 prime evils and is too scared to enter the portal, and just ends up basically in an asylum? It's more of a psychologically relatable subject, seeing a normal person with actual flaws, and not a big, hulking macho-man main character that always knows the right thing to do.
I have no real stance on WOW, but you're venturing into much less relatable fantasy in that game. People like topics/characters they can relate to, and Diablo seems like the series with the most real, relatable characters.

Or something like that.
