It isn't that hard to reach 60 really. Just do Nightmare Azmo runs and you'll be 60 in a day or two without setting a foot in Hell.

    Are you 60 yet? lol

Monster Scaling by Difficulty and Players
Here is how monsters scale per player in each difficulty:

    Normal - 75% Health; 0% XP; 0% Damage
    Nightmare - 85% Health; 0% XP; 5% Damage
    Hell - 95% Health; 0% XP; 10% Damage
    Inferno - 110% Health; 0% XP; 15% Damage

I'm just curious where this info was obtained. I understand that Inferno is supposed to be hard, but could 110% be a typo from the source? It seems as if that discourages co-op play rather than encouraging it. IMO, 100% seems to be a better scaling factor. However, it may be how Blizzard is adjusting to our gearing up and growing stronger. Will definitely know more in a few days.

From the strategy guide. It also makes sense since you gain so much more utility buffs and debuffs with a full party. Grouping will still give you a net gain when you factor things in like 24% dmg increase for the group, -25% dmg taken. These have 100% uptimes... and there's a lot more than just those two.

Inferno - 110% Health; 0% XP; 15% Damage per player is what strikes me as a little too much.

D2 HC was more like Soft-HC.

Mostly scrubs died in it, or rather .. those who did not abuse certain in-game mechanics and exploits mentioned above.

So, who was the bigger scrub in the end?

People like you who associate everyone with the small minority of jack-asses that ruined HC. I for one use no mods, and neither does my group who has played together since 2002,

Pointless topic but title basically says everything. Been preparing heavily for this game and can't believe its finally here.

I guess this thread can be about how long you guys have been waiting (realistically). I've been genuinely preparing for about 8 months now since I got the beta in November.

    Hell yea, 10 years.

Yo, when you find out you are sleepless for days and have remade new characters more times than you know what to do with... please do NOT start crying to blizzard or posting here about how the game is TOO hard

Thanks for the flames, I'm well aware of how difficult the game can potenitally be, and crying? lol okay buddy.

I would suggest not to play for that many hours straight

I've done it several times before without issue so don't worry about it.

I am not flaming you. I find your comments disrespectful =)

When I played beta, I didn't thorough testly emergency HC measures to avoid death. Back in D2, if things got oogly, I could TP instantly to safety. In a real jam, I could save.exit. During a mega jam, I could alt+f4

I noticed in beta there is a TP lag and a TP lock during boss fights. There is also a lag on a save/exit. Do other measures work, like Alt+f4 (didnt test) or force-ending the program with task manager? Or if this happened, would you still sit for 10 seconds before exiting?

I actually like the lag feature as it makes the game harder. Just want to ensure there isnt a slightly less obvious way to make a fast exit that others use.

Do not play HC if you have to rely on a quick exit lolol

posted a message on Blizzard on hardcore RMAH: "If there is a demand for it we’ll consider it. "
I am all for the RMAH on hardcore... It's not like people are going to buy items and automatically clear the content. The market will most likely be very lucrative to be honest, unlike the softcore. In softcore there is no lifespan for most "good" items, they are essentially immortal. On hardcore, it is completely opposite. Really good items will most likely sell for a lot of money =)
