For anyone trying to do this set dungeon. Be prepared for the mission to catch 30 monsters in 1 slow time to not work. It will pop up saying I only caught 17 or say 25, but when I clearly have over 40 monsters in 1 bubble it doesn't even give a notification. Have not been able to complete because it will only could get it to count twice for me.

This It seems to not allowing the cooldown to be lower then the duration of the buff. No matter how much i attack the cooldown comes off the same time the buff goes away. I saw nothing in notes or google.

I guess I must be one of the few that doesn't bother to change into MF gear at all? The change to destructible objects was ridiculous either way. I guess a nerf wouldn't bother me so much if Blizzard hadn't decided to basically remove the entire loot table. Chests, on the other hand, should remain unaffected by MF.

Forgot to add that I don't use the RMAH in any way. However, I would probably be more open to it if Blizzard would let me use the Battle.net Balance to, you know, buy stuff from their digital store? There's some pets and mounts I'd love to have as a collector.

I dont, its just not fun to do or worth to do.

What is the problem with making bosses and champions (both killed with 5xNV) drop roughly the same loot? This way players can decide wether or not to fight bosses or go elite pack hunting :o

The problem emerges when they drop the same loot like they do now because if your someone that likes to farm bosses, you need to spend time farming champs for your 5 stack to then go kill your boss. Now with boss farming you reset the game, in which causes you to lose the NV buff. Making you kill champs again for a 5 stack.

Building up a NV buff sucks and is boring since while your building it the chance of something good dropping is slim to none, on top of it being slim to none when at 5 stack.

I hate that it shows your dumb battletag when in a group in your main menu and in game. I would much rather see my friends toon name and my own. Cause really, whats the point of naming your toons

New system is terrible. Abilities are not all on the same window, Abilites go on cooldown when you swap them even with dragging. UI is HUGE when it could only to 1/3 of the screen like before. Rune icons dont look as cool as before.

posted a message on Patch 14 Skill UI
So they slightly modified the sill UI for patch 14.

It has the art style the pre patch 13 one had, but it still covers the entire screen, but doesn't look like a rock slab in your face like patch 13. You're able to once again drag and drop abilities that are currently on your bar. Right-clicking abilities on your bar brings up the overly huge skill page.

I have 3 issues with the current design.

    1) Dragging and dropping abilities on your bar to swap position starts a cooldown on both abilities.
    2) Hot key customization is still bad, having to unlock your 1-4 keys to place abilities there is terrible. They should be open from level one.
    3) The skill page design doesn't fit with the traditional half screen pane that is pretty known for diablo. Ex. the inventory / gear tab.

Post your ideas on the skill UI

posted a message on So they updated the Talent calc

The skill calc is pretty messed up for me, when I open the tab with the skills, the background is really messed up, and a lot of the skill icons are missing or incorrect.

yea its the same for me when i use google chrome, it works better in internet explorer

Yea i was just hoping that from the so many negative comments they got from the UI going on beta that they would at least not bother with it on the calculator. If they actually are listening to the community and are deciding to make it as good as it was before, you would think that they would not waste company time to update a thing on the website to a pos version that no one likes.

It's apparent they're planning on going through with this messy UI and not going back to the good one.

    http://us.battle.net...lator/barbarian

Its a serious let down that they actually think that this is a good UI. Every aspect of it is worse then the old one. What's also funny is it also has the key's on the talent calculator as if anyone is going to care what you bound them to if you were to link your build to someone.

i agree that in some cases it goes to far but yet once again the quest simplicity has nothing to do with it, lol i suppose we are both fighting the same cause just opposite ends of it

hah probably, I just feel that those D3 quest objectives update like "do this, now do this, now do this..." handholding the player every step of the way... and I find that kind of annoying.

I've recently been playing d2, and it was just "Search for this at there." Granted, that wasn't a good way to go either, but D3 seems to have jumped on the other extreme, and that's why I readily notice it.

For that particular quest, all you need is probably:

Search Adria's Hunt and Explore the hidden cellar

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay well the example given makes a lot of sense why you could not enjoy the hand holding, yaa it does suck but that topic is hard to determine whether or not blizz is trying to simplify for newer gamers or just what the norm is but i get your point, i do wish things were different but i cant change them i can only enjoy the fact that D3 is slowly but surely coming along

Yea, except for that new skill UI lol!

posted a message on Catering to the "new" player? Someone had to of understood old games from the start
From both wow and things they've done in the D3 Beta it really seems that Blizzard is starting to think that new gamers are absolute retards. How do they think they got wow started? Wow was a lot more difficult on release then it is now, even just to level up. When it came out no one was a pro and even they didn't need all that they give new players now. The game became popular before all this casual stuff for reason its what people liked, new and old gamers.

Edit: that megaman vid is so true.
