The most disappointing thing is when you get several dozen keys to make several runs at ubers and get NO organs XD and T1 is really you can manage (stupid smarter Wardens, Curse you Odeg lol). It makes you wanna cry. All I want is one damned hellfire ring game is that so much to ask?!
For me T1 is not that hard at all about what I was doing on live MP (some combo afixes hurt way more now though) however I only ever was able to play MP2 at any decent pace so T1 for ME is about there.
However that being said I don't think that there is any way you can really compare them. Builds and skills have changed, monster damage and health ratios are now different. Some builds outright dont work anymore (WW and CM most obviously) its just a completely new experience.
Do what I did and just push yourself to the next difficulty level you can complete without dieing to often and your good.
Yes you have to play in torment. but as someone who could only manage mp1-2 Id say the drop rates are already much higher on T1 as I managed to get both a key and the infernal machine plans from the same kill. I almost always get a key between 2-6 runs. I could do 20 in MP1-2 and not find more than 1 key and never found the plans.
I've been loving it for a while, however I just hit the best for me. I never had a hellfire ring I just could not get the keys or plans to drop being as I could only play on about mp 1-2. Last night i was doing key runs and I got both the Infernal Machine plan AND a key off the warden of act 4 from the same kill. That was awesome I literally cheered.
Also is Dfans a clan or a community, if its a community I would love to join it.
Also while I don't have a lot of runs under my belt. as of the last PTR patch The level 60 mats for keys and organs did seem to be about 25% at T1 which would be the same as the level 70 versions. I hope so I would love to actually have a hellfire ring in the live game.
I've only had the PTR as well but yea I have had similar experiences. Getting a legendary every 1 to 3 hours is nice but does not feel overblown Not to many upgrades even for someone who really is not heavily built for more than MP3 but I have found 3. Density is way up from where it started and thats nice. Honestly the rares are better then what I had for a lot of my characters again this is due to me having not so powerful equipment though. Then again a re-roll away might have made the difference.
I like the smart rolls I have been getting, its a nice tune and for every 20 items I find with my INT I get a str or dex item as well so it helps.
If you manage to farm the keys (3 of each) try asking in chat for help, there is normally someone that will carry you through the Ubers on MP10.
Yea I will keep that in mind when I can eventually do it. Sadly I can usually only manage MP1-3 so the drop chance is horribly low as of now I only have 1 key.

Hey, I'm getting back into DIablo 3 and I have been trying to get myself a hellfire ring however I am not so strong DocSun#1755. I only managed one key so far but I really want to get a ring before the expansion comes out to help me along. Would anyone be willing to help out. I'll be on tonight between 6 and 10pm EST
Considering your low funds, i must say you are doing a great job gearing your character. Your defenses are right on track for this gear level. Clearly, you understand the importance of EHP. Crit chance is there too, which makes the build work, so now you jsut need to increase your dps, maybe gain a few thousand HP and some lifesteal once your dps rises.
Thank you, its not easy to work with low funds, a little bit of good luck helps too. Honestly though I have only a small understanding of EHP but I get the idea behind it. Really it's what should I be looking for next? Or really which piece should I replace next and with what?
Thanks for that reply. I will look into that run. I am actually going for a mix of efficency and fun I dont need to grind for hours on end but I do want to feel rewarded for what I do do. When I had 2 archon recipies plus a legendary drop on me last I felt rewarded.
However that competitive nature does get me from time to time. I don't have to be perfectly Min/Maxed but I would love to know if I am on the right track for gearing up reguardless I mean I see such high damage outputs; is it just the Gold I don't have yet combined with poor luck with drops?
So I am comming back after a long Hiatus and have been lucky enough to be picking up some ok itemes as I go. Here is a link so you can see what I am working with.
As you can see in my link I am not the most well geared barb and I was hoping for advice on how to get there. I don't have the gold to do so (only just over 1mil) so If people want to help out with other advice such as where to be farming (recently doing Golm and Seigbreaker runs) and what to be aiming for would be great. I see some barbs with quartr mil damage and I am just envious.

I actually don't bother with T1 and just do master. Its fast enough that I get more runs in to offset the less drop rate
