Um did you read the crying babies on the posts? Or the Fail at math then saying ah-ha! They were acting like little children so they were treated like children. Being a customer does not entitle you to being a jerk, whiner, or act like a spoiled child! I laughed at the blue posts and the people they made fun of.

What fail at math? Given the limited #s its as good as you can expect. All I saw was blizz being called out on a bull shit statistic they used to try to mislead the public. The blue even said 17% of the playerbase unlocking inferno was proabably fairly accurate.

You didn't read very well. The guy who came up with 17% divided the wrong way. Complete math fail.

You are the perfect example of the type who get the annoyed blue posts. Read the damned post carefully, and you'll see where that came from. The guy *did it wrong* in front of everyone, but all you can see is 'OMG Blizz sux!! and this guy agrees! He must be right!'
You are right, I didn't read that part. I assumed the guy knew how to divide....
Thats what happens when you have too much faith in people.

Ohh well, the point stil stands they act like douchebags. I know for a fact there had to be a post where the math was done properly, and yet was completely ignored. They actually chose this post to distract the playerbase from the fact that they posted BS misleading statistics.

Mysticjbyrd, you are trying too hard to troll. We all know you hate Blizzard from every post you make. Not everyone is going to agree with you, but it doesn't make them fanboys. Grow up and move along.

Yeah Mysticjbyrd is a hardcore angry nerd rager. Take a look at his posts... 99.9% are QQ, 75% involve calling other people kids, 50% are QQ about PvP... And probably ~ 50% are angry toned.

I don't think I have ever even mentioned PvP...

Given the shit they have to endure from the damn whiners that play this game I can see them being a little edgy when it comes to replies. For every 1 constructive, well-written post being critical of Blizzard and the game, I see 500 whiny, crybaby posts. Every new game I play the level of whiny-ness increases ten-fold.
Do you expect them to write back all nice and stuff when they have to read inept, self-absorbed rants from players who can't spell, form a sentence, use punctuation or grammar? It would be enough to drive me to drink if I were in their position.

Be an idiot, expect to be treated as such.

Shit they have to endure? WTF are you smoking? Stop being lil fanboys....

They don't endure any shit on the forums. They don't even look at them 99.99% of the time.
They pay some idiot minimum wage to bring things of importance to their attention, and then the devs respond if they feel its necessary.

Ah so you work for blizzard , you're tight with their management staff? sweetness then you can hook me up with details of their next game before they announce it at blizzcon right?

If you seriously hate the company that much, which after looking at previous post by you seems to be the case, why do you support them by buying their product, or going to forums dedicated their products?

Lol I am sorry, but did I hurt the little fanboys feelings? QQ
Did you actually think bashiok and the other devs were reading every post you put on the official forums? ROFL!!!

Everything Im seeing points to forgoing vita and stacking Dex, Crit, Crit dmg.. and sitting at a measily 12-18k hp and just NOT getting hit..

Personally I hate it and don't do it.. but I also cant get past the first quest in A3.. I did manage to kill Belial tho. (Inferno)
    - I stack Dex/Vita/Resist all +Anything else crit/crit dmg I can get my hands on.. but its not going well -- Using a 960 ish dps wep and with my gear only doing 21-22k dps. -- With other gear I can get 32k easy.. but I HATE the *Get 1shot by everything* gearing :( (Edit: dps numbers are without//PRE sharpshooter)

ATM I believe its gonna cost me 5-10mil per item off the AH that includes dex100+, Vita 100+, Resistall50+, Crit2%+, Crit dmg 30%+ -- Before I can really *easily* progress through A3 Inferno :(.. and that assumes anyone posts said items.
/sigh @ Bliz milking RMAH when it comes out. .. yea yea I know /tinfoilhat

Act 3 mobs one shout you anyway unless you're really really stacking Vit and Resistance to the point your damage is too low to kill the mobs... So just stack damage and don't get hit :) I'm stacking Crit Damage, currently at 289%. 13k HP xD

Problem I have with that is what about abilities like the butcher's cone chains. When I was doing this he would one shot me when he used it. How do you avoid those style mechanics besides use smoke screen.

If you do it enough you can get past him. I did it as pure dps, and probably got a couple lucky dodges in, but I managed.

I tried to put on some higher defensive gear, but I didn't have enough for it to matter.

    Lol wow, people use that?

Remember, only 1.9 percent of people have touched inferno. Based off that percentage, I think it's safe to assume that a lot of people don't know what they are doing. Perhaps they are just following trend from their friends.

No that was a BS misleading stat the devs through up and then trolled the community with.
Its actually a hell of a lot closer to 17% of the players have unlocked inferno.

They did the same shit when they referenced D2 awhile back. They listed some stupidly small % of characters had beaten Diablo in Hell. Which is true, but there was a HUGE HUGE HUGE percentage of players who beat him. Most characters made were mules, or new characters ppl played when they got bored and didn't touch again.

What is with the asinine comments the blues are leaving? They are talking to the playerbase in a completely unprofessional manner. Its actually quite offensive as a paying customer....

They have evolved into a corporation thats only concerned with money, and to hell with the customers.
D3 is a mediocre game, its not our fault they fucked up, so I don't get the attitude.

I doubt I will instantly buy any more Blizzard prducts in the future.

I'm not telling you. I'm just putting my side of things on the table. Reach level 60 in hell/inferno and then tell me you enjoy it. Unless you bought it for one time run, then fine, good for you.

mhm, and which portion would that be? WoW kiddies or Diablo vets? It's either a Diablo sequel or some other game. In this case it was supposed to be a Diablo sequel, hence 'DIABLO 3' title. For it to be that some criteria must be met. It wasn't.

That was just a load of BS hype to get the fanboys all excited. Sort of like that interview where he said that they tuned inferno based on their game testers expectations, and then doubled it, cuz they knew their fans were better than professional game testers.

OR when they said they made entry into inferno easier, and then changed that statement to "we only made inferno harder" when the fanboys cried. Of course anyone who has gotten to act 1 knows it an absolute piece of cake....

And you could go on and on and on.....Fanboys bought it hook like and sinker, despite a few of us warning the community.

    BS HYPE BS IS BS

Oh, I get it. This is about your ego, not game design.

This forum really has gone full retard hasn't it?

Challenge is part of game design and how rewarding a game is, you god damn moron.

I know what you were trying to say. I skipped the explanation step that it was an argument to protect your ego, but here it is:

If the game were challenging in the "right way" you could beat it, because you're awesome. If you can't beat it, it must be bad design, because that way it's someone else fault that you didn't meet the expectation you set for yourself.

    It's lazy and transparent justification.
Its not hard to beat, and its bad design, because its not challenging in the right ways.
    check and mate.

I agree on the Legendaries. And yes, it does matter what colour an item is. The legendaries should be, as their title says Legendary. They should be always better than blues, for crying out loud. Blizzard was too stupid on this,

No, you are wrong. This is not World of Warcraft.

WoW is a great game in its own rights that I will most likely continue to play but it has warped your minds and convinced you that prettier colors must equal better gear. This is not the case in the Diablo series and anyone who spent any significant amount of time playing D2 has no trouble grasping this concept.
    "This aint WoW"
Seriously? Is that the only argument your pea brain can muster?

    Am I wrong?

There are plenty of things I don't care for in D3, but the color of my items are the least of my concerns.

Yes, of course you are wrong. Just because someone says something you disagree with doesn't allow you to throw out the WoW card. No one mentioned WoW....and its not even a valid argument any damn ways....

Its the intellectual equivalent of saying, "you mad brah?"
