Tbh i would expect that later on they give much more attention to PvP i mean yes PvE is nice and fun for a pretty while, but after playing really a lot, nothing more fun then playing against other players. Knowing Blizz they wont miss on much players who really like PvP so they are gonna make it pretty nice for them later on aswell imo.
I don't think they will be adding more to the PvP area (read PvP rewards), other than new maps/game types.
They might be doing so for an expansion, which is still doubtful. I mean the game is centered to PvE dungeoncrawl, and that is pretty much how it will stay.
I don't think they want their Diablo world to end up into a PvP world where pretty much all people are playing PvP and not doing the PvE content (which I think most people will).
What I really would like to see is a DotA stage for Diablo 3.
Mostly because I didn't actually play DotA in Warcraft 3.
The only problem I can see in adding a DotA stage for Diablo 3 is that there are too few classes to choose between.
If they where to add a DotA stage for Diablo 3 they would need to make more classes or it would feel very limited.
in any case a DotA stage for Diablo 3 would be cool, but I don't think that is something that will happen, not until they release an expansion or 2.
