As per weapon shots, if the weapon has cold damage normal shots will apply the chill effect, but firing a skill will overwrite the damage type thus won't apply the chill effect.
Ah ok, thank you. I have the Etrayu bow (sorry, don't know how to link). And I thought that any of my shots would apply a chilled effect, but that wasn't correct - as you stated. However, I'm not sure even if my the other cold skills will either. Like The Hungering Arrow with the cold rune. The mobs don't seem to be slowed or chilled when I shoot them with that. I've switch to Entangling Shot with the cold rune, since in the tooltip it states that it will 'slow' mobs.
Not sure what kind of build you're using, but Elemental Arrow is great to apply cold/chill across wide area with Frost Arrow rune.
    If I get a Krindershot - I'll use that. He's my character http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/HeavenDenies-1161/hero/15184990 It's the paragon level 70 seasonal/ladder DH.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I didn't see an answer to it when I looked. I wanted to know if all cold skills applied a chilled that would slow the movement speed of targets, so that Cull of the Weak's +20% would be applied? And if so, would all weapons that have the element of cold also apply a chill effect no matter what element spell I might cast may be?

I never said it sucked, I said it seemed lacklustre, there's a difference. If someone wants to provide a video / evidence..ANYTHING to show how "lol op" or "awesome" this is, I'll eat my MoJ and Quet.

From video shown, yes, showing proc rates and what spells they cast..I can't see how this can clear as efficiently as Jade Harvester or SMK Phys Doc but then again, I could be wrong.
Well you said you can clear it 4 times as fast, and killing stuff on t4 takes forever. I'd say that means it sucks, because anything that needs "forever" to kill stuff on t4 sucks.

As I said in previous post, you can keep up a ton of CC with this mask if you use addling toads with flayer and piranhado, which makes it very safe. Personally I dont really notice any difference in damage etc between using this and my MoJ with 100% pet damage, but I take a lot less damage and I have to move a lot less with Grin Reaper, so I swapped to it.

Thats profile if you are curious about the other items.
How many "mimics" of yourself does it summon at once and how long do they last? Also, what spells do you see the mimics using?

I can't view the video right now, but how many mimics can you have at once and how long do they last?

I've been dumping loads of shards in hopes of getting an Emimei's Duffel. Can anyone confirm they've gotten it from her? Just wondering if I should spend my shards elsewhere if it happens, for some odd reason, she isn't known to provide it.

Fetishes spawned from Gidbinn are worthless - unless 2.0.5 changed that but dont know anything about it.
Probably not, but thanks. It was better than my previous weapon so that alone is a plus. I'll just have to keep it until a better weapon presents itself.

Yeah, it's a decent combo. They way I look at it is, totd + piranhado gives 15% dmg + CC. Homunculus + Sac gives 5% per dog (say 25%) perma dmg increase + dog explosion (kinda small dmg) but no CC. But then again it's what you prefer, I mean I prefer blowing dogs up and having a higher damage boost, plus I feel like being able to sac your dog gives you something useful as a spender, you know - while your fetish's wreck everything. It can get boring knowing all you need to do is use toads, but the whole sac gameplay makes it a lil more interesting, for me at least.

But then again, if you use totd + piranhado you can also use a tall man's finger, and use your dog as a perma wrath garg. They're pretty awesome, they hit for almost as much a wrathful protector - I see crits for 50m on white mobs, hits for 12m, and very fast too.

Collect everything, try everything. Stick with your favourite :) The one thing I want to try is a full jade build. I've put hundreds of hours into my WD since ros and only ever seen the helm. Typical :(
Thanks for the advice. I just recently got a Gidbinn, so I'm trying to decide if I drop the Fetish passive or not.

Hey, I just picked up the Homunculus and I'm pretty much a pure summoner, but with the Homunculus wouldn't it be better for me to use Sacrifice:Provoke the Pack Gain 5% increased damage done for 30 seconds for each Zombie Dog you sacrifice? I figure I can run something like this:http://d3head.com/calculator/skill#zVzuvf8muLT8MzljP8VyxB8znyg8zRxL855R855u8zvHW88KR

Anyone do something like this already have anything they'd like to add?

I'm use Spiders w/ Medusa & Acid Rain w/ Corpse Bomb and I'm pumping out the fetishes at a good rate. Nothing to complain about.

I take it back. It looks like proc coefficients will be put into play. Official patch note below.

    • Fetish Sycophants
      • Now procs on hit rather than on cast, and will be affected by proc coefficients
      • The chance to summon has been increased from 5% to 10% to compensate

I'm not sure it the proc rate for each spells matters much anymore for the Fetish passive. Since it's changed to hitting enemies, rather than casting a spell.

New:Fetish SycophantsNow triggered from hitting enemies (changed from casting physical realm spells); chance to summon a Fetish is now up to 10% (up from5%)

Old:Fetish SycophantsWhen you cast a physical realm spell, you have a5%chance to summon a dagger-wielding Fetish to fight by your side for60seconds.
