Just press Shift + L while in-game, which will take you to the Leaderboards -> Inspect a few people, and see what everyone is running.
For this season particularly, it's mostly Manald Heal Archon builds, but some have managed to clear ~90 even with the previous season's Firebird's.
You can find examples of both builds on Diablofans forums under the "Builds" section ; http://www.diablofans.com/builds/85544-s9-2-4-3-paralysis-vyrrasha-t13-speed-rifts
You have to reroll your bracers/necklace to have +% Lightning damage, as I think that is why you're having problems.
If you have (for example) +18% Fire damage on your necklace and +16% Lightning damage on your bracers, your build is not going to work, as your %Lightning damage has to be the highest while using the MH Archon build.
Hope this helped.
Couldn't agree more with this post! Everything from adding a glowing effect to leveling it through some system and additional non-game breaking primary/secondary stats is something that should be added along with Primal Ancients themselves, which would separate them from basic Ancients.
I am honestly quite hyped for the whole Primal Ancient patch, but i think that something should be added to those except for stats increase, like the OP mentioned.
