RNG is a bitch, period. P840 when my first one dropped, I even leveled a Wiz to do a GR71 on that after I unlocked it on my Barb on the 4th of April. While group mates were getting them left and right, I got none. Of course the first one dropped after I cleared GR70+ on my Wiz, did that fix anything, probably not. But for me personally, I now no longer feel bugged, cause the first one dropped ;-)
That's exactly what I did so maybe I won't feel bugged anymore, would be nice to at least have a flag so I'd know considering there are a number of bugs they haven't fixed maybe there's one around this too.
I did a GR70 solo around Paragon 250, I'm now paragon 700 with no primal drop. My wife did the same thing but has found 10 primals between 250-700 paragon.
Is this just RNG? I am thinking of doing GR70 on a newly created character in case there is some issue with mine and with the lack of an indicator on unlocking primals I don't know what else to do.

So I started finding primals 3x so far but I didn't start getting them until after I ran a Gr70 with my wizard without empowering the rift.
Whether or not that was the issue is anecdotal but it seemed to work for me and I'm getting them on a regular cadence now.
