posted a message on [Patch 1.03] Analysis: Highest Attack Speed for Each Class
    Introduction
This is a thorough analysis for PATCH 1.03 on what's the highest/fastest attack speed that each class can get. If there are any mistakes or errors in my calculations, feel free to let me know and i shall correct them asap. Reason for doing this? For experimental adventurous fun

If you have not read my analysis for "Before Patch 1.03", i suggest that you do so as i had explained many theories and you will be able to understand better. Here:

[Before Patch 1.03] Analysis: Highest Attack Speed for Each Class

    Resources
For my analysis, i have referred to the following resources. I have left out the "h" for the youtube links as i didn't want the video player to appear. My apologies for the inconveniences. Just click on the link.

    New Changes in Patch 1.03
Firstly, there isn't any Superior Grade weapons with the suffix "+X Attacks per second" anymore. They had been change to the IAS % suffix type.

And so, they are now the highest IAS weapons because they give the highest IAS which is 20%. Only a Superior Grade weapon can have that kind of high IAS value. For the rest of the magical or rare or legendary equipments, refer to here for more info:

    http://d3db.com/news...tes-unofficial/

However, there are 2 weapons that still possess the suffix "+0.?? Attacks per second" in the whole game of Diablo 3. And they are:

    The Ancient Bonesaber of Zumakalis
    Sledge Fist

But they still suffer from the IAS nerf. And the highest IAS % found on those 2 now are 4% [down from 13%]. However, this does not make them the fastest weapons. I shall elaborate more when i have the time to list down the explanations.

The Maths: Highest Attack Speed for Each Class

posted a message on Just an Idea: To run with 2 Winds
The Idea is this -- "Sweeping Wind" + "Tempest Rush". Inspired by "Taikyoku Rasengan". With this build, http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#UcfiXQ!aYc!YZZYYZ, I intend to cast "Sweeping Wind" and then followed by using "Tempest Rush".

Nicknames: Tempest Storm, The Immortal's Rush, Run with the Winds, Taikyoku Rasengan

BUT what i am unsure of is this

    (1) Sweeping Wind Skill Description: The vortex lasts 6 seconds and is refreshed each time you strike an enemy with a melee attack. Does "strike" = "hit"? IF it does, i will be hitting enemies so many times with tempest rush and IF i have an high enough spirit regeneration, i can use this endlessly. Possible? I guess we can only try it out.

    (2) Also, is it possible to score a CRITICAL hit from sweeping wind or tempest rush? IF its possible, then it would be good to be able to increase the effect of sweeping wind.

NOW with all of that in mind and lets say all of them are possible, combined with some Amethyst gems, you will be able to call it "The Immortal's Rush". Any better names? lol...

OF COURSE you may use Cyclone for Sweeping Wind for even more...STORM! Tear and rip the whole place apart.

Maximum damage output will be 50% from tempest rush and 45% from sweeping wind. But obviously tempest rush can score even more hits than sweeping wind as it depends on attack speed. more attack speed = the more hits. although i did read somewhere in the forums regarding "Channeling Skills" and damage output isn't necessarily more. not sure on this though...

BUT HEY! scoring more hits in a shorter span of time = more +Life! (^^)

but well...lol...gotta have a really decent Spirit Regeneration to do this. i wonder if its possible at all. and yes, without question, gears will be needing the affix "Spirit Regen" as well. its not purely dependent on just skills alone in order for this idea to work.
