Hey so i just bought the game on battle net and im looking for someone that could help me learn the ropes. I picked a monk as my first character and i have no clue where to put my skills or what gear to be looking for. Just a tip. If I were you I would finish the story mode by yourself.
I woudnt let anyone power level you or drop all the items for you. That way the game wont be fun anymore.
I dont play on PC anymore nor the monk class really so I hope someone else will be able to help you further
After reading the new quartly update I think we "might" see an alpha end of next year?
And a beta a year later. So my feelings/guesses tells me it will take 2\3 years before we see a public beta or release.
Especially when they said "not soon, not even blizzard soon" at the last Blizzcon.
The reason why im guessing it will take 2\3 years is because in the post you can read that they only finished like 1 zone\act? Let alone all the other maps, mobs, items etc etc.
I had the same issue. I solved the problem by creating a new character and on the first bag I got the recipe!!! While on my main I opened tons of them but nothing would drop.
You're right. I was mistaken. The new Sage's set is what I was recalling. I just checked my own character's blacksmith, and I have the pattern for Captain Crimson's. I have done exactly ONE set of bounties so far this season, too. You may need to put in a ticket to have Blizzard investigate why it hasn't dropped for you yet.
Please don't put in a ticket for not getting loot, unless you didn't mean it to be taken seriously
Sometimes some recipes/plans drop a bit later, it has always been that way. Many people do not experience this, or it is a recipe/plan that is rather useless so they don't care (like all the craftable legendaries from Haedrig). But I've had seasons where the Sage's set wouldn't drop for multiple bounties, so I'm happy that one is now automatically learned by Haedrig at level 12. I've also had seasons where I was waiting longer than necessary for one of the jewelcrafter recipes. The Captain Crimson set is the same - some people get it as their first drop from a bounty/goblin; some people do multiple bounties. Leviathan farmed it for hours on non-season on stream before it finally dropped.

Its somekind of bug. I never had a recipe dropping in lategame. And I played every season.

I am expierencing the problem that the crimson recipe doenst drop
I am paragon 550ish.
1-) Done lots of T1 & T16 bounties, recipes dont drop anymore
2-) Killed an entire goblin spam pack T16
3-) Killed lots of solo goblins at T16
4-) Done multiple T16 gold vault
5-) Done alot of T16 reguler and even g.rift 70-75's
It look likes there are no recipes dropping...is it a bug? I really need the Crimson recipe to increase my build output.

I think they only completed like 1 zone\act ? So they still need to do ALOT.
We might see a closed alpha by the end of next year? But the chances are likely we will see something public within 2\3 years.
I mean they didnt say "not even Blizzard soon" for nothing.
They are too early. They still havent created alot of things which take time. Let alone balancing, adjusting and tuning it.

Blacksmith is already maxed out. I dont see any "new" Crimson items at the blacksmith. I only see the old one without the new bonuses.
I checked belt, pants & boots.
