Ok, so to avoid gambling how about instead different levels of pvp, say low, medium high or whatever. Depending on what you're playing, when you die in arena, your body drops a certain amount of gold that can be picked up
I think Jay Willson said he didn't want to make Diablo 3 PvP an E-sport
Its not about making it a e-sport.
Will there be ladder rankings? haven't heard anything, pvp specific item rewards? Don't think so.
Whats the incentive to play PVP? At least gold wagers would allow players to be competitive with eachother. There is a big difference between competitive and e-sport.
I was thinking about it, Blizzard is putting a good emphasis on gold and making sure it is a legit economic commodity. What if for pvp arenas, they let you set a gold wager split amongst your team. Seems like a good way to add a fun competitive incentive
Why I chose this build Pretty simple really, this build allows me to do lots of Arcane damage, with an off emphasis on Lightning spells (Shield and Signature spell), but another important aspect of this build is Arcane Power. This build gives the Wizard extra Arcane Power, as well as Arcane Power regen. Reduced costs where possible as well as Arcane Power regeneration on ability use. Low on Arcane Power? Lots of enemies? Spam Electrocute and you got lots of Arcane Power back to rain Arcane Orbs of doom on your foes.
This build will be viable in a PVE setting, I dont imagine it would be to successful in a PVP setting as it lacks the survivability you would want.
