    Monk Hotfixes:-
    • Mantra of Healing will now correctly provide only two times the base healing effect for the first 3 seconds after activation, down from four times the base healing effect (tooltip will still show the old value)
    • Skill Rune - Boon of Protection
      • A maximum absorption amount has been set to 1000 Life. This skill will be redesigned in an upcoming patch.
    • Serenity
      • Skill Rune - Tranquility
        • Duration of immunity granted to nearby allies from crowd control effects reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second
    Hope this build can still work with 50% less healing from the mantra.

    Good day,

    Sorry if I've provoked anyone in regards to this topic. It's just merely a discussion/debate, as we know that blizzard will have tons of patches to gain balances due to the reason of the tradition such as PVP.

    Monk will be my main character although I will be playing other classes. I just like to know your views on his skills. E.G. his stuns are all % proportional. Maybe he has too many defensive skills and buffs as so a tune down to be OP.

    I understood now that the gain of "Spr Vs. Fury" is irrelevant. Although Blizzard announced that balanced will not be prioritized but I believe it will still be a matter.

    Yeah, I agree with you. In-game chat system from devs is always smoother, with less disconnections. Hopefully Blizzard will add this feature for their players...

    Good day,

    There's many softwares out there that can incorporate chat capabilities when playing games. I love the idea of shouting and laughing with friends/party while playing. Please vote whether you'll use chat functions when playing D3.

    IMO, It's an advantage to chat while working together as a team, it's much faster to chat compared to typing. Although using this function requires a better internet line to sustain connectivity.

    Good day,

    What I'm implying is the imbalances between Barb/Monk on (Fury/Spirit Generation)

    Barbarian has 9 Fury Generation skills while the Monk has only 4.

    The monk only generates 6 spirit per hit while that Barbarian can gain 3-15 fury, and up to 30 fury for war cry.

    I understand that Barbarian should be stronger in terms of damage/tankability/etc but to what extend? Earthquake (2k dmg) Vs. Wave of Light (420 Dmg?)

    The Stunt on the Barbarian; E.G. Leap and Stomp. Seems pretty OP to me. 7 secs total and only 3 secs in between before cooldown. (while both are fury generators)

    I do love both classes but should the monk be a real melee or just a supporter class? Supporting class should be the role of mages IMO.


    Please give your opinion towards my view. Thanks.

    Good Day,

    I dislike the Monk armors as well, especially most of it through the tiers. Checkout Tier 11, it practically looks like Genghis Khan or some Asian General. IMO monk should look much better than some middle eastern/religious/genghis khan/terrorist look lol.

    The Barbarian's armors looks so much better compared to a monk.

    Although I'm still gonna stick to monk, I really hate the healing skills. I think its just a waste of slots to promote a kungfu and aggressive hero. Monk has speed, which reflects Agility/Dexterity and putting healing on a super fast hero? Everyone's gonna carry pots to heal, and wasting skill slots for healing is a bad idea. Healing should be a mage's/healer's job.
