Exacty. The worst question and most common question is: "What is the best class next season"
Best Answer: "There is no best class for everyone. We play games to have fun, the class that makes YOU have the most class, is the best class for YOU. So listen to your inner guts and desire and pick the class you FEEL like playing".
Good answer. I'm worried about DH since the "free" set is based around Impale with very little AoE capability. So your free set doesn't really help much for speed farming/rifting, or at least that's the impression I got. I tried the Monk Wave of Light build on PTR and found it to be incredibly fun and fast for T10 speed farm so I may start with Monk this season even though they don't seem to have as high solo grift potential as other classes.

Actually, people that play 10-15 hours a day with a 4 person group will completely decimate the botters in paragon levels. So, actually playing the game with other people beats botting. Honestly, if I actually cared enough I probably would bot because I, like many people, only have maybe 1-3 hours a day to play games and don't have a steady group that I can run 4 mans with to explode my paragon levels. I had some extra time last season and even playing most days only made it to 800 by the very end of the season and still didn't even have a full ancient set of gear. I know I won't ever rank, so I really don't care what other people do with their accounts.

My general strategy from PTR is to level gems up to 50ish (which is fairly easy if you play somewhat consistently), enchant your ancients to boost your GR potential, then level them up again to 70ish and boost your gear again. I was soloing up to grift 75 with paragon 825ish pretty easily and I'm certainly not a pro player by any stretch of the imagination.
Back to the original question, yes you can use it on every slot, but as mentioned previously, each item type has minimum gem level requirement and they have to be ancient. If you are having problems finding ancients, you can grind out regular rifts and bounties to get crafting mats and try your luck crafting. You can also try re-rolling legendaries with the cube, but that is very expensive and extremely RNG. I've had items that I re-rolled ancient with one attempt and some that I re-rolled 30+ times and never got an ancient version.
If you didn't try the PTR, I think you are really going to enjoy 2.4. Try out some LoN gear combos once you get ancients, there's some really fun builds out there. Good luck in season 5!

So you think in 400 hours of play you never once were placed into a server that meets this criteria? Sure, sounds plausible. After 20 minutes of throwing darts at a dartboard I shifted my foot to the left 1 centimeter and then hit the bullseye. It must be magic.

I saw the original in theaters back when I was a teenager. The new one definitely has better action sequences and fight scenes...and has Kate Beckinsale. But I wasn't quite as impressed as I had hoped. Perhaps it was just missing all those cheesy one-liners from Arnold.

MF doesn't have any affect on the item level. I get 63s all the time off trash mobs in Act 1. But...they are white quality because I have crap for MF. If I had 250% MF to go with my 5 stack NV then I'd have a much higher chance that the white piece of crap becomes a magic or rare item. So having high MF in Act 1 won't give you more level 63s, but the ones that do drop will have a better chance of being rare...which is an infinitely better chance of a good item than a white quality item.

That thing could take ages to parse through all the items. In RawR you only had maybe 2-3 items per slot that were even remotely viable. In D3 you could have dozens per slot to test. Given that brute force is the only way to test every combination, I'm not sure anyone really wants to wait 6 to 8 weeks to find out which group of items gives them the best dps/survivability.

This is another reason they need to update the auction house. If an item can drop with 6 affixes which could actually include 8 or 9 total stats, then why the hell is there only the ability to search for 3? I should be able to get as granular as I want to on my search even if it was a separate "advanced search" option. There are plenty of times that I want to search for something that has str, vit, physical resist, all resist, and maybe one more stat like magic find or a socket. Instead I have to pick 3 stats and do a search and if that search has 12 pages maybe I try a different search until I get something reasonable like 2 pages where I can then try to figure out how much I could possibly get from selling my item.
I think if the AH was updated to be usable by human beings that don't have one hour to waste on each search they do it might make selling things at an appropriate price easier. I have 2 full tabs of crap I'd like to sell, but I hate the hassle of trying to figure out how much it's worth.

I'll probably switch out Berserker Rage for Tough as Nails and maybe replace Furious Charge with Ignore Pain?
I was thinking I need more health and more resistances as well. I could probably get by with my current dps, but I'd like a little better weapon. It's just hard to find a decent one in the hardcore AH. Any suggestions from hardcore inferno veterans would be appreciated.

Monks already had godmode. Remember Athene's first attempt to get world first Inferno Diablo? 4 monks combined to create constant immunity.

On softcore the prices are drastically lower, but the RMAH and the fact that you can die while farming and continue to farm with the same character have a lot to do with that. Gold is so easy to come by in softcore even if you aren't buying it.
