posted a message on DH "Perma" INVISIBLE cheesy build
Just so people understand. They have stated some abilities the regular champion mobs have... IE WALL OF FUCKING DEATH+FREEZE+SPEED+TELEPORT, this consists of trapping you into a certain position to be killed. The mobs in later difficulties especially inferno do not take things laying down. Basically no matter what you will HAVE to fight!!!

So to be blunt champion mobs in inferno will have atleast 4 super skills if not more. So running around is not an option.

    Pick Your Diablo 3 Class?
    Your Result: Barbarian

Barbarians are savage wanderers who never flinch from close-quarters combat. Mighty ground stomps, leaping attacks and dual-wielded slashes leave a barbarian’s enemies dead in their boots and send any survivors fleeing for cover.
    Result Breakdown:
    78% Barbarian
    72% Monk
    28% Demon Hunter
    19% Witch Doctor

posted a message on Tanking in D3
I agree with many of the statements above. I guess i didnt clarify how the build works. Its all about getting up close and personally initial taking all the incoming dmg from that and getting the mobs into a pack. Then burning earthquake to keep them at that spot. allowing your group to nuke the hell out of them. at that point moving on to the next pack to repeat allowing your team to clean up the first pack and then coming to you again to nuke again. Best i can explain it simplistically is Leap in use CDs for shrugging dmg/CC's move out gather next pack leap in and do it again. Basically "HEY LOOK AT ME" then run to another group "HEY LOOK AT ME"

posted a message on Inferno difficulty 4 man or less
Totally agree with the above especially in inferno. One weak link will just screw the rest as blizzard basically stated inferno is meant to be a group clearing difficulty. Honestly I have 3 other friends that i know and we played all the time together in D2, so benefitting from each others abilities is going to be necessary it seems. I am so looking forward to inferno, but i know that is atleast 3-4 months down the road. especially since i still need to work and pay bills lol!!!

posted a message on how much chance I can get a CE in the launch event?
As walmart in stores do not do presales you might have a better chance then anywhere else... probably best to camp out or find a friend that works at walmart to see if they have any coming in... GOODLUCK

posted a message on First Kill, loot extravaganza?!
I played quite a bit of the beta. For me it totally was for atleast cutscene bosses (skeleton king) but not for bosses like jondar that dont have a cutscene. everytime i face the skeleton king for the first time on the character he gave a lot more and better. Unique mobs like jondar (purple name) and champion mobs (yellow name) did not seem to give more/better first kills. They did this for people to understand that boss runs will not be the best way to get loot. The end bosses will have similar/slightly(like .0001%) chance to drop better/more items. Also that you get better and more on the end bosses when you clear more of the dungeon.

They want people to really crawl the dungeons instead or teleport/leap/vault or whatever to the end boss repeatedly to get loot. Which personally i love that idea, make it a real dungeon crawler that way.

Somewhere they did state that running with more people in your party also increases quality/amount of loot. Also that when in large groups like that stay together is the best way to get loot and most importantly *LIVE*!!!! as difficulty increases its not linear it supposed to be exponential so that people dont do what i did in D2 with /players 8 command to make the loot tables better yet be able to still just run through the bosses with no problem.

posted a message on Tanking in D3
I know a lot of people say tanking is not that effective in D3. I have been looking into the idea that having a tank might actually be beneficial if used correctly. IE CC, buffs etc.

Well I have been thinking with this build you can control movement of enemies especially in sticky situtations, on top helping teammates with some nice buffs and being able just overall soak dmg. What do you all think and what might you change.

posted a message on Spear+seismic wave w/4 barbarian
So my friends and I on beta were just goofing around. We used spear and seismic wave to juggle a single mob. I wish i had fraps it. You spear an enemy then seismic wave back to starting point. Then another set from another barb. rinse and repeat. has anyone else thought of things like this with other classes (mix and match. Obviously this is just for screwing around but that also the fun in Diablo to me.

posted a message on Is Hydra useless?
What I think you will see with hydra is similar to D2. BTW i used hydra in d2 as a way to CC. It was good for pulling mobs to a certain point and then using a mass nuke on the entire group. As I understand it if you have faster Att speed, so does the hydra. Be on that as such it does feel like the showtime rotisserie "just set it and forget it". I am actually looking forward to this skill. BTW think using passive skills inconjunction with hydra such as conflag/paralysis to have more chance of plusdmg/second effects (ie stuns).

    4. drop rate comparing boss to elite to simple mobs and jars/chests
    5. Calculations of Att. speed to attacks per second.
