Hey, well, as the topic says.

I can pretty much help with anything aside from act 3 and 4 inferno. Act 2 is still a bit..err...rapey...but I can manage there.

So anything. Achievements, boosts, levels, anything goes.

Anyway, post your problem and battletag and I'll add you ^^.

30-45 hours tops? Did you not read the reference that it would take about the same time to reach 100 paragon as it did to reach 99 in Diablo 2? Did you even PLAY diablo 2? Do you have any idea how many hours it took to get to level 99? Are you completely daft? Sorry, it just astounds me that you assume it will take 45 hours maximum. If I could get my D2 character to level 99 in 45 hours I'd be a God.

It will take long to get to level 100, of that I'm damn sure.

How many other games have you played for 200+ hours and still enjoyed it the same way?

I think a vast majority of people will reply 'Skyrim' to this, or Pokemon. Both for me. Skyrim I have almost 500 hours logged.

I've played 308 hours and 11 minutes and have 3150 achievement points. I've levelled a monk, 2 dh's and a wizard to level 60 and busy levelling a witchdoctor and barbarian now. I'm not bored yet and I don't think I'll be any time soon.

just saying that i found an amulet and 2 rings both lvl54 that i sold for 5-7 millions each and the amulet worth 9 millions, all from act1, thank to that i pass to act2 easily and in act2, i still havent got anithing good (like 2 weeks)

Luck of the draw my friend, luck of the draw.

The biggest problem I've found with people and gear is that some people don't know the value of things (I'm not saying you at all, just adding this to my post). A hundred times at least I've found someone saying 'this is a piece of shit' and when they show me, it's actually awesome and those that actually listened to me and tried to sell it on the AH got quite a bit. The problem is that you constantly compare things you find to your own gear.

Your view get's even narrower if you haven't played any/all other classes. So you could potentially be throwing something away that is worth millions. Every single day awesome items are merched because of a general misunderstanding of it's value.

That miracle item you wanted? Yup, someone just sold it to the merchant for 500-3500g.

posted a message on Force quit Diablo 3
    Quote from Bloodyvain

Force was being polite he knows why he quit he just didnt wanna blame blizzard.

The game was made too casual.

No pvp, and they have very little plans too support it.

The quests give no rewards other then xp and gold, xp becomes useless and gold becomes a ah and repair sink. Quest in d2 were optional and gave stat and skill benfits with no forced story down your throat.

We also had custom game names for random events like free's or certain boss runs. We had better communication and chat rooms.

What force doesnt really know too much is boss runs were funner in diablo, trade games is what made diablo fun, along with duel rooms.. people keep arguing against this are just wrong.

Let's analyse your post for a second (I didn't watch the vids, so you can flame me on that if you want)

PVP: They will be bringing this in, so it's not 'no pvp', it's delayed 'pvp'. If you want to make your argument valid, try to actually use the correct words. One point proven wrong.

CASUAL GAMEPLAY: Yes and no. Yes, normal and nightmare is piss easy - I could do it with my eyes closed and completely wasted while playing with only my toes. It's an embarrassment to D2 difficultly as Nightmare on D2 is harder than Hell in D3. Granted, it's casual - but have you even tried inferno? Some of us are die-hard fans who want impossible difficulty with awesome loot. But instead of finding awesome loot, we buy awesome loot, which makes the impossible difficulty even easier.

Buying off the AH is like cheating, it's like when I played Diablo 2 solo and I REALLY wanted that one bloody rune I could never farm easily and was unable to trade due to single player. Instead I would do thorough research of the items value, transmute it to gold value and eventually I'd acquire the 'gold price' for that item. So what I would then do is farm all the gold, toss it on the ground, exit and use a hero editor to add 'said' gem to my inventory. I didn't want to gain something without spending something, but I still felt like I was cheating. You are always going to have a nagging sense of cheating because it's 'too easy'.

Example "Oh...look at that awesome weapon...WHAT, only 10k? MINE!" Prices for good gear has dropped so much that the allure of using the AH/RMAH has become too tempting for most and I admit to using it more excessively that I wanted to and this attributes to the 'easy' feeling. If you had to farm every piece of equipment you have you'll see the true difficulty of Diablo.

QUESTS: The quests in D3 are merely standing points for levelling and the gold is just a bonus - it's nothing more. You don't farm an area to finish the quests and if you do, something is wrong with your picture. Progression through the game is mostly for the xp as you get more gold from the game itself by just playing. Quests are merely there to get a jump in experience if you are low level - after that they just become needless and act as milestones.

The rest of your post I agree with.

Yeah. This is an inefficient waste of time; since you aren't stacking NV.

Um...wow. Yeah, the video is a waste of time if you just kill, quit and redo. However. combined with the other "definite" spawn points you can easily acquire the five stacks without looking for elites and then the real hunt starts.

Spots I know that are 100% guaranteed are the two in festering woods and the one outside Leoric's Mansion.

Then there's the champ in the graveyard, I find he only spawns about 80% of the time, but still good enough to go check.

That's, if you're lucky with the last one, 4 stacks already.

The last one can easily be found by zooming through one of the defiled crypts in the graveyard, there's usually up to 3 champs/elites in one area.

On an interesting side note, I did the watchtower level 2 the other day and found about 8 elites/champ packs in there. It was pretty awesome, haven't done testing to see whether this is a high possibility and haven't even bothered googling it.

Meh 350+ hours between a barb and a demon hunter, and I still plan to play both of them as well as leveling at least the other 3 characters to 60. Still enjoying the game quite a bit, and I don't use the RMAH at all. It's fun to just run around and kill things, whether it be stuff I can handle easily (act2 inferno on my barb) or trying to do harder stuff like act 3 in groups with some of my friends.

Still having fun, still earning new and better gear. If you're bored with it then that's cool and I can respect that, but I see no reason to force your opinion on other people and then insult them when they don't agree, saying nonsense such as 'I'm lying to myself because I enjoy it'. That doesn't even make sense.

Diablo needs more gamers like you.

People who are still playing Diablo 3 are mostly lying themselves. Some are pretending that they are having fun and the other half is playing to earn money on RMAH (such is me).

Lines like that just tend to piss me off. You have absolutely no viable evidence to back that up instead of your own assumption on the game and the x percentage of people who feel the same.

I understand you use the word 'mostly', but your entire post says you only posted that on a very loose note. If you don't like it and only want to use it for a cash cow, then that's your problem. Don't assume other people feel the same. If you allow the small things to ruin the big picture then you're as blind as the rest who feel that way.

The problem was the expectations of the game and most of them weren't met and that is upsetting. However, I also tend to believe that it will be improved upon and that it takes time. The game is new, the fans are old - and we all expected perfection and I know some of us are disappointed.

Ride out the wave instead of drown in the crowd - quit the game if you must for a year and then check back. D2 wasn't all sparkly stars at the beginning either, for those of us that know, however, now we refer to it as the pinnacle of perfection.

Quite frankly, I'm happy with the game, I'm happy with the entertainment I got from it and the entertainment I'm going to continue to receive in the years to come. I enjoy it, I AM disappointed in the lack of story and some other minor things I don't care to mention, but I still enjoy it. I'm not lying to myself, I acknowledge every fault as I often read forums here, on the official site and from my own country.

But I still enjoy it. If you don't, tough luck, but don't tell me I'm lying to myself because you can't find the joy in something good.

On a lighter and slightly more hilarious note: Friend of mine got Tyrael tattoo'd on his back quite a bit back, before the release of Diablo 3, and...he's a racist. Priceless moments...

I totally agree. I've been farming act 1 as well and I've gotten gear that sells for well over a million. I find it lucrative enough to farm, however, the best place to farm is still act 3 because of the sheer number of elites/champs and general monsters.

However, since that isn't a possibility for everyone, it is very possible to farm act 1 and get awesome stuff as well.
