Any true fan will take FOREVER to beat normal mode because they'll be so enveloped in the story and game itself that they won't want to rush it at all. There is so much more we haven't seen yet that could take much longer than getting to skeleton king and killing him.

Nice one, calling yourself a true fan because you suck at the game xD

True fans or not people play in a hundred different ways and enjoy different playstyles. Me for one I will be rushing past any small groups nuking the big ones rushing on to the next killing only about ~60% of the mobs for as far as it goes. Doesn't have anything to do with whether or not I'm a true fan, it has to do with having years of speed-gaming and speed clearing experience. Killing a single mob with a single target skill when you can just rush on and kill 5-6 mobs with an AOE (leaving the last guy unless he's low on HP ofc) is simply put the way I roll.

Diablo is and has always been about skill, avoiding to get hit in the first place, facing hard foes and gearing up. Not about the story, cause lets face it there isn't much of it. xD

I honestly disagree with you. I took three weeks to finish Normal once after finishing it in half a day previously in D2. Why? Because I mapped every single part, explored every single cranny and every single dungeon. And I farmed the shit out of the countess for runes.

You are wrong on all accounts in your statement and yes, you have no grounds to argue with me on this one. You're a watered down version of what I'd call a fan even if you don't state whether you are or not.

I am a SC myself and have done it a thousand times on a hundred different games, but that doesn't make me skip things because I 'want to get the crap at the end'.

You have no right to tell someone they 'suck' due to your own opinion of how a game is meant to be played. Do you think blizzard intends for players to just 'speed' passed the lore?

Yeah, sure they do! They just spend god knows how many hours creating a beautiful world of fiction so that you can run passed everything that seems weak enough to do so.

You are no gamer, you're a farmer. There's a huge difference.

If you want to appear offline to someones on your friends list, delete them. If you want to hide from someone then that pretty much defines your friendship in and of itself.

This is wrong what you're saying. It's the same as not answering your phone when your friend calls because you're in no mood to speak to anyone. I mostly play games offline because I hate to be badgered every 5 seconds by someone. I love the feature and would be annoyed if it was not there.

posted a message on Has D3 lost their true diablo fans?
You know...I'm a true Diablo fan. Been waiting 10+ years for D3. However...staying off this forum (I'm new) does not make me a fan or not. I just don't need a pat on the back to remind me I am a fan. Why? Because I AM and no one can convince me I am or convince me I'm not.

A true Diablo fan will never be put off all the crap most of the people on here bitch about.

    Internet connection?
Sure, I didn't have one... so... I GOT ONE
    Money?
Was a bit tight..made a plan and got the CE
    Free time?
Made sure I have some, or A LOT
    RMAH?
Pfft, didn't need it before and won't need it now

The only thing that will make me HATE D3 is the storyline - if it sucks I will toss it in the fire and watch it burn and I will WRITE my own Diablo 3 - story wise.

The only thing they can screw up in my opinion is the story.

I don't care about the RMAH, I don't care about anything except the storyline.

Well, this is a pretty useless topic - no one knows how it is so how can it be 'nerfed'. I believe pre-release that would actually count as 'making the game' or a tweak.

posted a message on Some Diablo questions for you guys
Well, I made a survey (looked interesting to do)

It's only 20 questions and pretty random questions. Basically stuff I want to know on average.

I tried to be accurate with the questions and answer options as well as attempted to minimize any grammatical errors.

Would appreciate if you guys answered ^^

The Bandwidth limitation question refers to if you have a limit on your cap, for example if you can only use 10gigs a month.
