True fans or not people play in a hundred different ways and enjoy different playstyles. Me for one I will be rushing past any small groups nuking the big ones rushing on to the next killing only about ~60% of the mobs for as far as it goes. Doesn't have anything to do with whether or not I'm a true fan, it has to do with having years of speed-gaming and speed clearing experience. Killing a single mob with a single target skill when you can just rush on and kill 5-6 mobs with an AOE (leaving the last guy unless he's low on HP ofc) is simply put the way I roll.

Diablo is and has always been about skill, avoiding to get hit in the first place, facing hard foes and gearing up. Not about the story, cause lets face it there isn't much of it. xD

I honestly disagree with you. I took three weeks to finish Normal once after finishing it in half a day previously in D2. Why? Because I mapped every single part, explored every single cranny and every single dungeon. And I farmed the shit out of the countess for runes.

You are wrong on all accounts in your statement and yes, you have no grounds to argue with me on this one. You're a watered down version of what I'd call a fan even if you don't state whether you are or not.

I am a SC myself and have done it a thousand times on a hundred different games, but that doesn't make me skip things because I 'want to get the crap at the end'.

Yeah, sure they do! They just spend god knows how many hours creating a beautiful world of fiction so that you can run passed everything that seems weak enough to do so.

The only thing that will make me HATE D3 is the storyline - if it sucks I will toss it in the fire and watch it burn and I will WRITE my own Diablo 3 - story wise.

The only thing they can screw up in my opinion is the story.

I don't care about the RMAH, I don't care about anything except the storyline.

Demon hunter for me from the start - don't like wizards - so probably never going to play that one.

Well, this is a pretty useless topic - no one knows how it is so how can it be 'nerfed'. I believe pre-release that would actually count as 'making the game' or a tweak.

The Bandwidth limitation question refers to if you have a limit on your cap, for example if you can only use 10gigs a month.

Well... the game isn't really loaded with technical issues, its the servers.

Odd... i have been in and out of the game/client 15 times or more already, and i can always relog without a problem.

The first hour had problems, but i got the impression that it was smooth sailing after that, at least for everyone i have spoken to.

Stable FPS, no dropping out of games etc..

Then, I sorta answered my own question when I sneezed for no particular reason.

When i see a spoiler tag I'm all, "oh shit something i don't know and all these other motherfuckers are about to find out" so of course i look. Then afterwards I think it wasn't a big deal and I'd be sad if i found something important out about the story but yet the next time it happens, i look again. Terrible cycle.

P.S. Asian players can access RMAH. This is the workaround:
Let's pretend I'm an asian farmer.
1) I farm the best gear in the US region, but I can't sell it in the RMAH.
2) I transfer the best gear ingame (yeah, you can still trade with another char or drop items on the ground), not even using the GAH, to a friend in the US, who has access to RMAH.
3) My US friend places the best gear in the RMAH and floods the economy.

end of story

This would get tracked quickly, you can be damn sure powersellers will be investigated a bit.

The more likely variant is to set up a proxy in the US. Sweatshop in China connects to diablo 3 through an american IP adress making them all look American. Then they sell their stuff from their own accounts and pay it out through paypal.

The even more likely variant, is that they powerlevel characters to 60. Buy some bargain inferno grade gear on AH and set their characters up to bot in Hell. I know of Germans running up to 150 bots at the same time and 150 bots making say 500 000 gold per hour beats a real character making 2 000 000 per hour.
