So I'm trying to get an Inna's Reach, and the blood shard lady won't give it up. Yet in my last run I picked up Sunwuko helm and shoulders. Both of which I have. So I throw the Sunwuko pieces in the cube after about 5 times of this no Reach came out. Then it hit me, WRONG SET MORRON.

Miffy23 posted a message on Crusader - Finery QuestionEven without Finery you'll usually want to stack Rubies over Diamonds, unless you're really, really hurting for AR.Posted in: Crusader: The Church of Zakarum
Play it by ear and see how you do as you go. Feeling squishy? Socket some AR, drop Finery (Holy Cause is a good boost now instead). Lacking DPS? Throw in them Rubies and use Finery. Simple as that. -

ruksak posted a message on Will new expansion raise level cap? They need to knock that shit off. Really, how dumb have gamers gotten where this sort of thing is acceptable? (raising level cap for items and monsters)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
As the OP said, many people want to view the great finds they make now, with plenty of due reverence 5 years from now. Making all items obsolete every 2 years is....it's fucking retarded.
We need new item types and new, interesting affixes that don't shit on everything else which preexisted. Do some of you people not realize what raising the level cap REALLY is? Do you know?
It's a number bump, that's it. The illusion of improvement. Fuck those old 1H weapons with 2.3k DPS. These new ones are "better". They have 3.4k DPS.....THE POWA!!!!! (nevermind the fact that the new monsters got a number bump too, making your new weapon scale up and feel no different).
That's not smart item progression through expansion modules. That's bumping numbers to create the illusion of improvement. Flat-out, end-game caliber RoS items we find now damn well should have use 5 years from now.
They had to raise the level/numbers for RoS, but only because they screwed the pooch on launch and our items were horribad. Many items now are impressive, and there's no further need to bump numbers up on a level scale. They need to use some innovation and imagination to create a vast aray of fun items, not just ....well the vid below explains my entire post.

Belloc posted a message on Crafting Question - Wall of ManPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
False. Crafted items are always crafted at the level of the pattern. If Wall of Man is a level 70 crafting pattern, it will always result in a level 70 item with level 70 stats.Quote from Victaarion
I think crafting it at 60 will craft a level 60 shield (so lower stats).
OP: Your level 60 Barbarian will be fine for crafting the shield. Hell, you could craft it on a level 1 barbarian and get the same results. Go for it! -

KiollerGaming posted a message on How to get White Items in Bulk for CraftingHey you guys, with the latest changes to legendary crafting materials drop rates most people have started to get a decent amount of materials. The hardest part of crafting how now changed to the blue materials and ascended white gear to use as a base item.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The best way to get the white items is from a vendor in the fields of misery. If you go North-East until reaching the edge of the map, then explore that edge until you find her shack. It is not always open, but when it is, she usually has 1-2 different white items that can be used for crafting, and there is no limit to how many you can purchase. This is by far the best way to get 20 pairs of (whatever item you need) as opposed to praying they drop from mobs. Hope this helps you if you didn't know it was available.
TL:DR; fields of misery, north-east edge of map, vendor sells items including whites, no limit to how many you can buy!

Lol, join the club. You cleary didnt play pre patch 1.04, it was much worse. The game is actually waaaayyyyy easier now @ MP0. Try farming for gold and getting some upgrades in the auction house.

Basically, if you consider the time involved. The more often you roll the dice is as important as what probablilty you have of rolling certain results on a die. Therfore, the lowest ratios on this chart reveal the most experience @ MP4 and MF @ MP3 in terms of the amount of time you will have to play to receive the benefit.
At higher mosnter power levels, the experience and mf bonus are trumped by the disproportionate increase to monster health (in other words, the time you will have to spend killing them)
Hope this is helpful.

WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THEY THINKING?

Well, I beg to differ.
Before I built up my resistances to about 300 each, 500 for physical, I could not even try to compete in Act 2. Yes its true, you can just buff your damage and your move speed and run away constantly. But guess what, if you can get good enough gear such that you can get a good deal of Res without losing to much DPS, you can take a good 3-4 hits in Act 2 inferno.
It does not sound like much, but in truth its everything. This allows you time to get away, use a potion, pick up a health globe, while continuing to kite and fire those elemental blood balls and elites.
Following this logic, (plus the upcoming inferno nerf), even higher resistences and hp would be a blessing for moving into act 3 -4.
Why do people disagree with this approach?
