I JUST said that I downed Belial, I didnt mention that I cleared all the way to him with only 2 deaths. I think I know how to play my wizard. When I have 52k health and still get 2 shotted by Belials arm stomp garbage, it's easy to accidentally turn the wrong way when avoiding them. Ditto with the green bombs hes throws down... How is me getting unlucky with a random ground attack a lack of skill?
I'm not complaining. I just think 250k is quite a bit to clear 1 boss for the first time.
Blizzard is doing the same thing they always do... if you cared enough for the game, you would have finished it by now. Since you haven't, you need help, and they are giving it to you. The game is now incredibly easier, you shouldn't have any problems.
You mentioned getting two shot from one of his abilities... If you have bothered to ever read these forums, you would have noticed that one of most important skills for wizards in the later acts is Energy Armor with Force Armor rune. There isn't a single build here not using it, and guess what? You cant get two shot
well the thing is, you already know the biggest spoiler of all - you are going to kill diablo at the end, blizzard said that, not me
does it really matter if you know a few more enemies you are going to kill along the way at some point?
there isnt anyone posting actual dialogues, so all the little twists, turns, and details about the plot are yet to be discovered while playing the game
im not here to 'spoil' anything ti anyone, im just surprised by all the fuss about it
How long would you say it would take you to fully clear Diablo II in normal with a fully-geared level 90+ character? Probably... 30 minutes? Maybe less? 4 hours or less is not an insignificant amount of time, considering.
well considering you one-shot everything and can teleport indefinitely....
the same thing will be here, the only things that will consume the time are quest objectives and going back and forth to complete them, and not the combat, which diablo is actually all about
This site was all about what to expect from the game, all the interviews, patch changes, blue posts, etc, talking about what the game will be like
And now, when there is a lot of info on it available - all the items, affixes, monsters, bosses, there is suddenly a problem? This is why we are all here, to see what will the game bring us and to discuss it, what does 'spoiling' even mean if all this info will be available as soon as you log in to the game anyway?
Pressing 'L' (or something) will bring you to the achievement screen... Oh no! A list of all the bosses..... Quick, sue Blizzard for SPOILING the game!
Everyone's comparing a monster's Hell stats to Inferno stats and going "WOW what a big jump!" You can't compare Act IV Hell to Act IV Inferno and say that you're going to get creamed. Look at this:
Armaddon Act IV Hell: 54k-76k health, 14k damage
Arachnid Horror Act I Inferno: 49k-81k health, 18k damage
When you look at it that way, it doesn't look like a big jump at all. Now...
in this thread, there is this post i just quoted, and there are 100 posts full of imagination
a simple fallen one/devilkin/carver or whatever his name is wont one shot you in inferno, he will be just a little bit harder than the previous monsters you killed - in act 4 hell
same thing with that guy in act 4 inferno that does 170k, if you have managed to get to him, that means you didnt have a problem with the guys hitting for 150k or 120k just an area before him
the problem is no one reads the whole threads about an issue, just a first post so they can jump to some false conclusions
same as you complaining about sk doing 170k, but that number was for a creature in inferno act4, not sk
the thing is, if you take those 4 monsters whose attributes we saw, and arrange them properly, you will see there is a very small difference in damage between monsters in adjacent acts:
a monster in act 2 does a little bit more than a monster in act1, a monster in act 1 nightmare does a little bit more than a monster in act 4 normal, a monster in act 1 inferno does just a little bit more than a monster in act 4 hell, etc - a monster in act 4 inferno (170k) does just a little bit more than a monster in act 3 inferno
so 170k if observed in the proper context, doesnt look strange at all, but if some idiots read only the first post and believe everything they read you get some stupid hype about something thats not even an issue
I just bought a 24'' led and my eyes cant stand it... does anyone have any similar problems?
i used to stare at my 17'' crt all day for the past x years without any troubles, and now i feel like my sight is getting worse every day cause of the new monitor
