We'll have a countdown on the front page closer to release as well.
Stop giving me reason to spam refresh your damn website! It's hard enough to not come here in the first place >.>
I come once a day, seems like they only post once a day and generally it's already stuff I've seen also you wouldn't need to refresh since the countdown should be done in JS so it can update itself.
I'm NA ordered from Amazon before release day was announced, so my eta from Amazon is the 17th. I've been checking mine constantly hoping that Amazon would be cool about it and still send it early so I can play at midnight without being blocked by the "started edition" (which I'm not sure if I'll play because I fear it might not have all the cinematics, etc. maybe just not with my main class).
Can you add seconds and milliseconds? makes it exciting watching those numbers tick down lol
also make the 'time till we can play' huge! The other two not really important. just my 2c
Yes I could, but that would increase the processor usage, by 60 (or 60,000 for ms) times.
So I posted, my countdown app/page on the D3 forums and some feedback. Then I posted it on reddit and have been watching the karma come in (sure it's slow, but I'm a newbie to reddit and it seems constant). So I figured I'm ready to post it here and see what feedback ya'll have to say about it.
I've been staring at this mouse for awhile myself. I just feel that if I buy it, I become the hugest nerd ever, spending that much on a mouse lol. Most people stick with the free one that came with their computer
Honestly saying, you guys don't deserve what that guy did to you. What a toxic community. That guy was risking some serious laws yet you don't appreciate that?. I wish he didn't post these picture I wished he just posted his CE with his hands with a big paper saying "Fuck you all! I will be enjoying this tonight ALONE."
He was going to answer your questions and post even more stuff, but there was no fucking encouragement by this the community all what you was looking for is MORE MORE AND MORE! regardless of the trouble that guy was putting him self into. All in all, I hope he enjoy his awesome CE!.
Posting those images wasn't breaking any laws. Blizzard would send a cease and desist to ImageBucket, they would remove them. If they didn't remove them, then ImageBucket broke laws.
Blizzard could have found him that quick. lets say dfans gave his account info to bliazzard and he has a bnet account right with his phone as security. They would have his cell number. would take no more than 5 minutes to find him.
The is no NDA for Diablo 3.
While it wouldn't be illegal, if they were able to find him this way, they could just say he voided the ToS and not allow him to connect to the servers.
