I have 210 paragon levels and mp0 has not failed me yet.

I think you broke the game.

I think they are having a terrible time balancing characters that can crit for 1M dmg fighting against characters that, at the most, have maybe 100K health. How else can you do it without some sort of wow style resilience mechanism?

I picture a room full of monkeys sitting at computers.

posted a message on WD vs. MP10?
I think its sad how terrible skewed the current class base is towards two specific classes. Yes, each class is capable of doing MP10 with the right amount of gear and spec. But what it ultimately comes down to is efficiency and NOTHING, comes even close to a WW barb and a CM wiz. if you arnt playing either one of these classes you can forget doing MP10 efficiently no matter what your gear.

Sure you maybe thinking I can do MP 10 just fine, but if you could compare yourself to a barb or wiz they are sprinting though the MP level and you are on your belly crawling through syrup in comparison.

get a "thing of the deep", run passives gruesome feast, and grave injustice. Collect as many cheap pieces of the zuni set as possible. and enjoy as your bears mow down everything in sight and with each death adn health globe you get mana back, CD reduction, and a dmg buff.

posted a message on Paragon farming build variation (poison, bears w/ side sac)
I wanted to share something unorthodox but I think is a viable variation on your classic bears/acid cloud farming build.

This is considering you're running act3 in MP1-2

If you have decent mana regen, with a large enough mana pool 'pierce the veil' as one of your passives is usually a must. With PtV I sit around 160K dps can spam bears and or acid cloud for a fair amount of time, long enough everything is dead before I go oom. I thought maybe this was just a bit over kill and found a build variation which I think will increase efficiency.

So the cookie cutter build is something along the lines of

    Bears(for elites)/ Pc for AOE

    -spirit walk / Jaunt
    -horrify / stalker
-Soul harvest / soul to waste
-With some variation of dogs, garg, manitou, so on

    passive being

    -Pierce the veil
-Gruesome feast (works amazing with PuR)
    -Grave injustice ^^

My variation is as such, you only change 2 skills. You drop PtV for 'circle of life' (which also benefits from PuR), and as your 4th variation skill you pick up 'sacrifice' with 'provoke the pack'.

Since you are mowing down mobs so fast you generate dogs at a really good rate, by sacing 3 dogs you get a DP boost of 15% compared to the 20% from PtV. The buff from provoke the pack lasts for a good chunk of time, meaning its easy to keep it up 100%.

What do we lose from this build?

-you lose the 5% from from the provoke the pack buff being 15% and PtV being 20%

    What do we gain?

-All spells are now 30% cheaper meaning your spam potential is now greatly increased.
-You gain a heat seeking nuke of 825% wp dmg from your dogs with 'sacrifice' which has no CD as long as you are getting 'circle of life' procs

The only thing you have to pay attention to is making sure you only sac 3 dogs at a time, to keep that dmg buff at 15%

So, even though there is a slight dps loss from your passives, the increased spam rate and the nuke, I think helps to speed up a run greatly thus giving you faster paragon levels, and legendary drop rate.

Try it out, let me know what you think. :)

posted a message on High end WD disscussion ACID/Bears mana manegement
My experience is as such. There are three primary builds you need to figure out for yourself, Low MP paragon/MF grinding is going to be different then high MP Paragon/mf/key grinding, and lastly an Uber build. Even though there is a lot of overlap I do have 3 different builds for each scenario and I have half a dozen items used to compliment each build.

From what I gathered you are having mana issues while farming higher end MP levels so I will be talking specifically about that. Acid rain starts sucking around mp3 or 4 plus. There is only one logical goto for mobs with such high health, that is bears. bears will run your mana pool dry even with high regen and a large mana pool. There are only 4 thing I have found that efficiently help with mana regen beyond gear.

1:Spirit walk with mana regen rune... its a nice little bump and becomes really efficent with high PuR when coupled with number 3. The reason for this is in large packs once demons start dieing the CD on spirit walk becomes reset really quickly allowing you to regen your mana every couple of seconds

2:Gruesome feast: Mana regen and dps boost from globes, benefits greatly with large PuR

3:grave injustice: CD reduction and % mana boost from any enemy death within your PuR

4: BBVD with mana regen: I have close to 100 mana regen, when I use BBVD I can spam bears indefinitely while standing in BBVD.

All these things combined give a lot of mana regen to a typical bears build. SO my final prognosis is this, while your gear is decent you dont have the PuR to properly use your passives and are thus oom'ing like mad.

    Hope I helped :)

posted a message on Zuni and Manajuma Set
The novelty 2 piece set bonus on mana's sucks. The radius is crap and with my gear it only ticked for about 3 K once every second, but you had to be pretty much right beside the mobs. I would honestly say stick with the carver if u can find a good one. but dont bother with the offhand.

Zuni 4 set is a must in my eyes.

BEcasue CC has long been known to stand for crowd control I think crit chance should be CHC (Crit hit chance) and CHD (Crit hit dmg)

ALso you could essentially jsut go through each class with every skill and if its longer then a word or two shorten it to be an anacronym.

AS a WD talking to other WD's we often toss around phrases like, Rot (Rain of toads) BBVD (big bad voodoo) Garg (Gargantuan) SH (soul harvest)..... you get the idea.

Its not a scam becasue really he didn't force or trick you into doing anything, he convinced you. You thought you could make some quick cash by flipping at item. You didnt do your research, and you trusted that someone would by something for even more then the as you stated already over priced item.

Its like buying a house without looking at it then getting made when you realize its in a Detroit suburb and you will never be able to re-sell it.

The only expensive part is trying to get either an SOJ or a skull grasp with 5+ seconds, the homon and visage are dirt cheap. the ring will probably cost you into the hundreds of millions.
