I feel that liquid CPU cooler is a bit over the top for a completely standard rig. Even the stock cooler doesn´t make alot of noise unless you´re constantly on full load or in a very hot room. I m o unnecessary money that could be spent on something else.

Computers are obviously alot cheaper in the US than here (Sweden) if the price range you´re suggesting is correct. Your rig would cost roughly 1400-1500 dollars here, not taking into account a SSD (which is crazy good btw)

Today's Intel processors are insanely easy to overclock (think 3.3ghz -> 4.5ghz extremely safely within minutes by changing just 1 setting). However to help dissipate the heat, a Corsair H60 or other closed-loop water coolers does wonders. It literally lowers the temperature by 10 degrees C or more over the stock cooler, not to mention it's more quiet. In addition the fan is much easier to clean when it comes time to blow out the dust.

The H60 is almost as easy to install as any after-market air cooler. I highly recommend it. I build gaming PCs in my spare time for others, but usually my clients prefer the H100.

PSU 550W should run this fine. There are online programs that will tell you what you should be using. Old technology used more power than new ones as a general rule of thumb.

SSD would be great, but it's not a need. They are still at about 200+ USD for a 128GB. Research which one you buy, don't get any first generation SSDs.

Power Supply -- 550W would be ok if you stick to Antec, Seasonic, Corsair. Would stay away from cheap brands or store brands. If adding more hard drives or want capacity for a 2nd video card, would bump it up to at least 650-800.

SSDs -- if they're not on sale, it's usually $1 per gig now. Corsair M4 or Intel 330, both around the 120-128GB capacities are running about $120-130 on Amazon and Newegg.

Just to add -- if you have a Microcenter nearby, no retailer on earth can match their prices on Intel CPUs + Motherboards. If you buy both together you save another $50.

I did this with a friend (we are both Barbs), and got some really nice pieces of loot (both of us got some armor that sold for 1M+ each on the AH, in addition to weapons that sold for 400k, etc. This is with avg MF of about 140%. Did this for about 8 hours over 2 days.

The 9400m is not a discrete video card. You should really consider getting a computer with a decent discrete video card if you hope to get good framerate.
