    Can't agree with post above.
You can check my profile(EU),i'm paragon 85 monk, played from release, and still do,yet there were 6,maybe 7 items total, that i sold for more than 20kk(only one that sold for 80kk,and that was before crafting gloves etc.).I got TONS of legendaries now,and all i do is making brimstones. The only thing that i found on my gear is the belt, which isn't much worth now,and I'm using it only beacuse it makes farming MP6 quicker(before i was on mp5).
    I'm not the type to spend 8 or 10 hrs a day playing a game,and still,with no bugs/cheats/exploits i got to 85 paragon.
The game isn't rewarding at all at this moment, and thats a fact, but i love and can't wait for itemization patch to hit. It's the only thing that keeps me from quitting completely.
1.0.8 wont bring me anything that will make my day.
Sorry for bad english,i'm from Poland, and this is my second post on the forums, but i'm reading it everyday :)

My grandfather actually came here from Poland in 1932 (formerly the Rakowski clan). I got some ties to your region. Just thought I'd throw that out there. :Thumbs Up:

I encourage you to post more. The language thing isn't a problem here, as many of our members are international.

On Point; Some have better luck than others, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't have some long dry streaks.. But, on average, if I play say 14+ hours a week, I make good enough gold off drops, despite the fact that my highest sale yet was only 225m.

    Just for posterity and disclosure, here's my sales in the last week from self-founds. Nothing drastic but it confirms my earlier statement of finding 20m+ items about once a week with an average of 2 hours daily play;

That being said, itemization, in terms of Legendaries especially, cannot be fixed fast enough.

The game is perfectly fine the way it is, you play it for what it is, not what it could be.

    That is highly debatable.

Actually, what compels me about D3 is the potential yet unrealized. If I thought D3 wasn't going to get better/more dynamic from here on out, I'm not really sure I'd play.

Part of what drives me to play is the knowledge that many changes are coming, similar things to what @Bleu42 has suggested. When I play I feel like I'll be looking back at these times 5 years from now, still playing D3 in whatever glory it may achieve by then.

As the song goes,....these are the good 'ol days.

How is this thread different from an advertisement?

There's no discussion to have here.

This is straight-up pandering, using this website as a vessel for free advertisements. Everytime we have a thread like this, there's always a 1 or 2 post member saying "I'm gonna check this out, it's cool!" just after the OP. Gee, bringing friends here to bump this stupid shit thread too, aye?

Many of our more active members have made it clear that we despise the clutter these threads present. As well, often the thread title lures people in, wasting our time, only to find out that it's yet another streamer advertisement.

Please take some action against these stream-pandering threads. Move them to a specific section or ban the practice outright. Please.

Your thread title is inviting trolling. Not a very honest thread IMO.

posted a message on Your opinion on "Need advice/What to upgrade next"-threads?
Yeah, no more or less irritating than repeated threads by people posting their "ideas" in 'wall-of-text' format. Often including a ridiculous use of the posters imagination.

Yes...these things can irritate but everyone has an equal right to post their thoughts.

It just gets a bit ridiculous when we have multiple threads on the front page that are essentially the same topic, only people make a new thread to draw more attention to their specific ideas.

Just try to ignore them if they bother you. They're just looking for conversation and this is a diablo fan-site, after all.

    Quote from Vulmio

Actually, it is not even that simple. The problem is dual wielding. I'm pretty sure if Paladins could dual wield in d2 and it was more efficient, they'd use 2 weapons no matter how good the shield were. In D3 softcore you will also use whatever does the highest dps. Right now it is using two weapons. If you make shields make more dps than dual wielding, then nobody will dual wield (because shield would provide more dps and more defense)...and people will cry because they "can't" dual wield.

Classes in D3 are not "shield classes" lorewise (barb or monk with shield don't make sense from a lore point of view) so forcing them to use a shield (like it was the case for paladins) and forbid dual wielding wouldn't make sense. The problem in my opinion is dual wielding and the lack of a shield only class.

It's a matter of balance. Obviously making shields on-par with dual wielding in terms of DPS would be faulty. A nominal DPS effect is in order, not equal to sporting an EF for example, in that off-hand slot. Remember, weapons will be getting a buff, likely a huge buff. Shields should follow suite as they are woeful in most respects.

What I'm saying is ...find a way to make shields embellish your DPS to a point where people know they're going to lose some DPS over dual wielding, yet, the prospects of innovative procs and survivability lures them to face a hard choice in gears.

I want to point out that a lack of significant death penalty is part of the problem. Having these Elite packs regenerate health if someone dies would be a great incentive not to die.
